Thanks Andy. I think you'll definitely dig the book. It'll definitely change the way you look at music and it's relations to life.

Now about using music as an escape...we all do that. But when it comes to getting really in deep with each sound. Have any of you ever listened to Microsound stuff such as Taylor Dupree...[url]http://www.12k.com[/url] as the music these guys make is really something I admire and would like to listen more to. But to me it is like painting. You can't spend all your day around this kind of purity, one needs something to break the silences. Oh and you can check sound samples from the site too.

Hell yeah it does. Electronic Dance Music (above all the great stuff i've absorbed over the years) accelerates, purifies and sets ablaze my thought process... critically.

There is nothing more revitalizing and galvanizing to me when I can tell my brain mind and outer bullshit to shut the fuck up and then simply go higher n' within, with those driving powerful rhythms and those soaring melodies -- only found in EM/EDMs.

And the great part about it, it helps me function better.
