^^ most female DJs tend to be, it seems to be some unwritten rule. I've heard of her before. She mixes housy electro proggy stuff, would probably have a lot of fans on this board.

I'm a fan, she has a great style.

yea, its a mix of big room house and techno/prog. I met her when she was at avalon, model too. Totally sweet and cute.

I've seen some ugly female dj's but they usually end up being the lesbian DJ's. And are trying to look all butch.

Miss Nine got her start from getting with the guys in Deep Dish from what I gather, because she was barely doing many DJ gigs and suddenly she had her own Yoshitoshi compilation.

That's largely true, but there's one female DJ I can think of that would not fall into this category, and boy does she not fall into this category. Gal is fugly but in fairness to her, I think her look is part of her persona. That, and she could throw down.

I'm like 99% sure she's not on this board, but I'm going to keep the name to myself just in case.

I'd not put it past it to have her being co-produced with someone else...like Dubfire does for his tracks. And Mark Knight does for his tracks.

She's an incredibly good dj as well !! Uses vinyl!! I find it annoying that someone as talented as her always seems to end up in the side room .. Btw for some unknown reason she doesn't like having her photo taken.

Jen Tutty is another really gorgeus one. In her spare time she is also a lawyer in the entertainment industry. Total over achiever. :lol:

What I find interesting is that although they do have their preferred style the girls seem to be a little more adaptable. Virginia is more minimal, but the one time I've heard her play main room [wish I could remember the event.] she played a stunning progressive set. :D

At the Dousk event Mish'cheif was far and away the set of the night. Another wonderful progressive set from someone who probably leans more towards techno. She is so good. But also still in the side room. :) She is another one of those overachievers, her day job is high up with Price Waterhouse Coopers.:)

Btw while googling I found an expression I hate even more than Djane. Shejay !:shock::shock::shock: :lol:
