I love the 2006 space set ... think the way it builds is a masterclass and still sounds fresh now.

Would be nice to get the other 4 hours of yellow .. Diggers needs to set up on soundcloud a la hernan.

His Chicago Area2 set was his best live one imo. That or the last hour of his Dubai gig. I wasn't too 'into' the club yellow sets :(

I concur. This is my fav Digweed set of all time. This is the set that introduced me to livesets. Prior to then, I didn't know that you could download sets off the internet and what a great one to start! Others talk about his Beirut or Fabric set and whatnot but this set is by far the best IMO. Part 3 starts off with Shades and flawlessly mixes into Release. That's the best mixing I've ever heard. So smooth. Keep in mind he was still doing vinyl back then. That's really knowing his music.

I love this set so much that I wrote Diggers an email once asking him to release hours 5-8 since he mentioned on the broadcast that the set was 8hrs long. Unfortunately, the response I got was that he doesn't plan to release the remaining parts (but hey, he wrote back!). I've been to Club Yellow once before in 2002 (after learning about the club via this set) and seeing the club, I could just imagine being there for 8 hrs being lost in this set, esp when it gets really really dark around Shades. Drool.

BTW, part 3 ends with Luke Fair - White Island Heat. There is no ninth track and the first track of part 4 is White Island Heat.

2000/2001 were probably the best 2 years for progressive. There are all the haters that say "you guys are stuck in the past" and other blah blah blah, but whatever. I can't see the stuff now is better than the stuff from then, esp the garbage (cough electro) that permeated during 2005/2006. I consider those years off years for John. Now would David Guetta just go away already???

Was digging through some oldies and I think Red Box 2002 DEFINITELY has to rank up there, as does the Arches in 2001 with that ridiculous Kinda Scary track

I remember walking into Plastic Fantastic for the first time and buying so many 12"s I had to order a record bag from Hooj Choons. It was a pain bringing everything back to the states, but I'm glad I did it now. :D

i love all his sets, don't get me wrong, the vortex is strong, yet all his kiss sets are, everyone of them, far too predicatable. not a dis, just my humble opinion. along with [url="http://www.mercuryserver.com/forums/djdb.php?id=5"]sasha[/url] and hernan. well, hernan not so much.

the club yellow one is decent. but that one anthony pappa set from club womb set is far better.

It's March 2013. I still listen to this set from time to time. My favorite Diggers set of all time, fav Kiss series. Listening to Part 3. The mix between Deep Amok - Shade (first track) and Soul Grabber - Release is beyond perfection. And this is in the vinyl era. Please John release the entire 8 hours! I've emailed him many many years ago and got a response that he's not releasing :(
