Involv2er was definitely worth the wait! The only negative is that it isn't 2 hours long!! The bonus cd has some fun tracks as well. Thanks so much Alexander!

IMHO you just don't understand invol2er. But... If by some chance you heard this ( exactly the same ) 13 tracks mixed by any other DJ, then ( maybe ) some things about invol2er would be more understandable

I've listened to this mix about 5 times today, but I just got it at 2 this afternoon. It's getting better every time and it's f'n amazing! I can't wait listen to it some more and discover new sounds, beats and patterns. Great one! But still in two tracks the singing I could do without. Just mo.

I haven't listened to the free magcover cd yet, but damn after the reviews I can't wait! So far I prefer Transitions 4 over Invol2ver. That may change as I listen to more though.

no, i don't think i'm alone on this one. my point was more that digweed is giving away for free something on the same level of quality as sasha is selling...

The digweed mag CD is just OK. It's mostly just a classics mix, and it wasnt anything I would re-listen to anytime soon.

after my first listen of involv2r, i feel completely underwhelmed.

it plopped and squelched by without hardly any interesting points.

as with the last 3 releases by sasha, it might grow on me (like involver 1) or not (the the shite that was fundacion).. so we shall see

I simply love Invol2ver ... and that's just the promo - my CD should be here Friday.

So much has gone into the production - listening to it with headphones on should be awesome, picking up all the little nuances.

You can't compare JD's free CD - Inv2 isn't simply a mix album, Sasha's pulled those tracks apart and totally re-done them, layering unique sounds that he's created in the studio (or recorded around NYC) with Charlie et all.

I think you have the wrong cd in mind. We aren't talking about the top djs mag cd, we're talking about a new covermount for dj mag that was released on this months issue. That top Djs mag disc is old and was given away free with a Greek newspaper, someone just decided to tag it with an august 08 date.

why not? digweed did the ableton layering for it, like on transitions 4? thats no small amount of effort to have that many tracks in a 57 min mix. when the moonface remix kicks in, i literally get shivers. nothing on involver makes me feel like that.

I'm sure a hell of a lot of work went into T4 ... have you read the iDJ and Dj mag articles about the making of Inv2 Jeff - we're not talking "JD cheeky edits" here.

Invol2ver has shivers from start ("You are the worst thing in the world") to finish ("Sometimes I realise") - guess we just have differing tastes. That post-Badger opener is hauntingly beautiful (similar to some of Ulrich Shnauss's stuff).

Thought it was a very nice mix, well crafted and track-selected. Less impressive than V 1, mainly because is less varied, but overall as good. Enjoyable.

Disappointed by this overall. Starts amazingly well and some of the tracks are blinding (You are the Worst..., Couluers, The Eraser, Midnight) but it just never really seems to get going, and some of the vocals (on 'Sometimes I Realise' especially) destroy the tracks for me completely. Still an enjoyable listen and i'm going to give it more time for sure, but all it made me do really is want to listen to the first one again - which I did. 'Smile' is potentialy the greatest moment on any cd, Ever.
