MetroDance has just shut down

Few hours ago most of the MetroDance team were fired and they now are playing some crappy "cool" music. As far as I know, not even Hernan's show will be airing @ Metro, after 7 (or more) years on the air.

Honestly, a big loss for our local EDM scene.

Shows from guys like Martin Garcia, Guille Quero, Facu Carri and Deep Mariano, just to mention some of them, have now no place to be aired.

Hope someone picks this up, and fill the space Metro is leaving blank.

RIP MetroDance!

This must be against the law. this is a serious hit to the dance community here at ms, all the shows rule. Some serious withdrawls are on the horizon in MS land, thankfully there's a new Axwell set in the P&R section.

the station was bought by CIE Media Group (a mexican company) couple years ago.

rumours says they sold their share to a brazilian company now, and they decided the new image for the radio

worst news ever.. Really have fallen in love with garcia sets. cant imagine not hearing him anymore...

the main thing that stinks is both Hernan and Garcia just about never ever have live sets released so most of there fans are only able to hear them through there radio shows. stinks big time

What we need to do is get in contact with Hernan, Martin, Facu, and the rest of the crew, in order to start hosting the shows here. I would be into ponying up some cash to make that happen. Because flying to Argentina once a month to catch these guys is going to be a lot more expensive.
