I wouldn't agree. I think it's a fair question about personal preference. Like Merc or BMW?

I would imagine a club would book both for the same slots and crowds, so I'd be interested to find out what people see as the deciding factor (if any) between the 2.

Eh...I kind of agree with Refine here. Not necessarily that it's apples and oranges, but why these two? Are they both coming to your town and you need to pick one? Why not James Zabiela and Desyn Masiello or Jon Lisle and Andrew K?

try grabbing some of zabielas Groovetech Radio, London sets.

they should be floating around soulseek. all of those were quality. he seemed to lose my ear after fame grabbed him. different strokes for different folks ehh!

I like Zabiela's bedroom bedlam winning mix but beyond that I get kind of annoyed with all his "innovations". I guess I'm one of those people who thinks its good to push the envelope, I just don't want to listen to them while they're doing the pushing.

So where is the comparison here? They both spin breaks?? Great, so do thousands of other dj's. Not to be facetious, but I think they are two completely different animals. A comparison of the two leads nowhere.

zabs wins handsdown in skills but i prefer lisle's tracklists

edit: zabs vj + dj idea sounds innovative though.

Zabiela for me, his SA90 mix is the best mix i have heard in years, it is flawlessly mixed, its is near impossible to hear the mixing taking place, and is just great.

Lisle is great too, you have to take into consideration that Jonathan Lisle works as a full time Barrister(attorney), runs his own record label and still a&r's for bedrock breaks. Busy guy
