Re: favorite beers

all time fav. guiness. but i vary widely. american pales, ipa's, blondes, a few hefeweizens. drink a lot of different lighter colored euro beers. not so big on porters or stouts. also will drink mexican or aisian with food at a resturaunt, but rarely at home by theirselves.
Damn it Jeff you beat me to it. Not sure what the hell Delirium Tremens is but it sure gets you f'd up damn fast
Funny that you ask!... I just recently had this beer and found it to be quite to my liking. Delirium Tremens is an extremely advanced symptom of alcoholism, wherein the afflicted individual begins to tremble and shake uncontrollably and hallucinate if he or she goes into withdrawal from alcohol. It's basically your nerves dying. Generally followed soon thereafter by death.:)

But a tasty beer! cheers 8)

Re: favorite beers
i tell everyone who says that guiness is their favourite beer to try this one instead. tons better than guiness, much more flavour and taste. look for the draught cans with the widget like the guiness cans, not the bottles. you wont be disappointed.

You know, I like this stuff, and I like Samuel Smith's Oatmeal Stout a whole lot, too, but there's no substitute for the original, IMO. 8)
I'm with kinkyj on the whole "belgian style" thing. When i want a "belgian style" beer, i'll go straight to the source, and drink a belgian beer. I'm not drinking a knock off replica from some American brewery like New Belgium (fine brewery tho.)
"New Belgium"???:roflmao:
"New Belgium"???:roflmao:
yeah i hear ya. they do actually make some good beers tho. 1554, and some of the seasonals are nice. i hate fat tire. chick beer imo.

New Belgium Brewery makes an aged beer called La Folie. I highly recommend trying it once. Such a unique wine/beer. It's not something i seek out, but it's cool to see people's faces when they drink it. lol.

Re: favorite beers

Seriously belgium beer kicks ass. It was why I started the thread. Its a tad pricey here sadly. But at least I have a store within walking distance where I have been able to find everything I ever searched for. With the love for cycling in Belgium, I think I need to move there!

Re: favorite beers

I love a lot of the Belgian beers of course. For the states I love Fat Tire, and a lot of the Micro brews in different towns I've visited. I like a lot of Sam Adams special brews. I still like Kostritzer, and of course Marzen type beers.

Re: favorite beers

OK. on the reviews and thoughts on the Delerium brand from all my bros on here. I have went out and purchased two of the tremens bottles and one of the noel bottles at our Ohio based Andersens general store.

Gotta go to Indy for three weeks tomorrow because of my job with AT&T...and will try for one bottle per week of drinking...I'm a mosquito weight compared to Steve.
