Yea, I've noticed a lot of performance issues with Beatport lately too. That sucks! And you're absolutely right, if you're a customer willing to give money, there should be zero issues, especially if BP wants to remain the market leader.

It's crazy problems. I love beatport ... but things like this drive me nuts. Their support is very slow ... and I am being nice now. I could not imagine a dj that had a huge gig and here they are ready to fork over hundreds of dollars for music and they get a credit card issue because there merchant account is screwed up. They change their password requirements and I can not even change my password because their link drives me to the default page. I even copied their url and pasted into the browser both FF and Safari. Same results. Talk about frustration. I will try tonight. Ugh.

Just bummed that is all.

Plus I am a total Sasha whore. I will admit it. Been checking everyday for the Coma track so I can pump that on my system and run around naked. So disappointing, I tell you.

use beatport downloader and it works fine, i had the same problem and this sorted it out but the thing is u shouldnt have to download this to get ur tunes, its un pro as fuck imo

i only use beatport when i cant find a track for sale elsewhere at this point... had so many problems for such a long time that i dont even bother even after they made a change to their setup which solved my issue.

bummer. I never had issues before, more recently in the last few months. Had my cart disappear, I was pissed about that. Credit card issues. and now password issues. Gosh all mighty.

I used to have tons of problems a very long time ago. Before the 3.0 upgrade I think. It's been fine for over a year now.. Hopefully with this new Maintenance thing; it wont revert back to migranes!

I've never had a problem with them... I think their search isn't as effective as it could be but for the most part I think their site works pretty good.

I feel your pain though... It especially frustration when you finally find the track you want add it to your cart only to get a message saying this track isn't available in your country...?!?!?!

yes I've made myself wait for all tracks to go down to 1.50 USD before I buy them. After all I'm not opening up sets at some club, so I will have to wait for the tracks i want.

Beatport.. I try to avoid the pain when I can. $1 extra for wav. Never responded to my email to set up my account for access to their forum.

Beatport downloader works on windows and mac fine though.

Beatport always seems like voodoo the dissapearing carts always makes me take a two or three week break from the site. For as much money as this site must be making you think they would spend some of it on a IT dept. instead of spending it on strippers in Vegas. Shit, digital is here to stay you would think some of these form vinyl distrubtion agencies would create something. What Beatport needs to get it's act together is some serious competition, right now it's just too convienent and pretty much the only thing stateside with some selection, of course there is the UK, etc. but the dollar is shit and it would almost like be buying vinyl again.
