This summer at his party at Cavo Paradiso in Mykonos Digweed messed up two mixes....IN A ROW !!!! On one mix he lost them for like 15 seconds, and then on the next bad mix he had them unmatched for like a minute. How can a DJ like him not be able to match them perfectly for such a long time like that ! ?????

shit happens man. plus you never know if it was equipment or not, or if the monitor set up plays tricks on his ears there or not, you never know. I'd rather have him spin on cd decks/vinyl and such and mess up occasionally, then be flawless on ableton honestly.

It happens, even to the best of them. Ive seen / heard Diggers wreck a live mix a couple of times. He usually doesnt try to hide it and will throw his hands in the air, like "I made a mistake and you all know it", and then gets a huge crowd response or applause. So what- adds a little flavor to the night.

we've all had mixes go bad, just because its his job, doesnt mean he is a machine.
in proportion he has a low percentage of mixes go wrong than any of us.
anyway, bad monitors make life fucking difficult.

That's like asking Michael Jordan to sink every shot he attempts in a basketball game. Not going to happen. Every DJ will slip up every now and then, that's what makes this a human art form instead of having a computer do it all. Plus, there's always a variety of variables in a DJ Booth that can create a problem for the DJ, that you as the listener won't know about. Like shitty monitors, skipping CD, bad sound proofing in the DJ booth causing the equipment to bounce, etc. It could be any number of reasons beyond just him that could create the problem.

i have seen several big name dj screw up. happens from time to time. the last time i saw D:Fuse, he train wrecked a couple of tracks; i was amazed as he has always been spot on mixing. it happens to everyone at some point.

Shit happens! If he screwed up and wrecked big deal! Now if he wrecked with ableton.....well then there might be cause for concern. I personally believe that ableton is the devil! the end of the DJ as we know them. Cue points and auto mix!!!!! LOL! Seriously, there are numerous reason why it may have happened.....drunk, someone bumped the stage, a speak blew and couldn't hear, my dog ate my homework....etc! The point is you can't call the man a shitty dj for one bad set. You play at this level for the amount of time in which he has, then tell him he's a bad DJ. Grow up!
