(this is just what the Islamic Fascists need to give added credence to their bloody, destructive campaign of global terror!)

It is time for Christians (the Body of Christ) everywhere to rise up and expose this lie from the pit of hell that will be perpetuated on the whole world in just a couple of short months. This is no time to back down in the "day of battle". It is a time to pray and fast like never before that God will raise up a standard against the enemy as he comes in like a flood. Satan always "overplays his hand" and once again he is about to overplay it big time because as usual he overplays it right into God's plan to present the "truth" to the whole world. Yet we have to ask ourselves today when this abiding reality comes under direct attack who will defend it? The answer can only be that those of us who have been transformed by it's truth for eternity will and must defend it here and now.

Pray that Christian lay people, prayer leaders, writers, pastors, and all those in Christian media outlets will get the message out and expose this deception of hell and reveal the lie this movie will present before it ever hits the theaters.

The fact that the Vatican is getting so uptight about this movie, that the thougth of this movie will shake Catholic's faith across the world, really puts into perspective how reeling the Catholic Church is today grasping onto whatever it has left. So very pathetic.

fiction is exactly right. it was an awesome book and looks be be a great movie. i'm reading dan brown's first book right now called "angels and demons" - robert langdon's first adventure. this book is great too. i highly recommend it. people need to just take entertainment for what it's worth. if you don't like it, DONT GO SEE THE MOVIE.

well, actually only one of his books reads good... the first one you read. And that's because if you know one, you know all - they are exactly the same :lol: But this first one reads pretty well so I guess I'd like to see how the movie copes to recreate the atmosphere... the book was very good.

i was gripped by it and read it in 24hrs.

not overly keen on the movie. the characters don't fit what i imagined.

Beau Fasce (sp) and Silas are well cast, just not sure about the others.

Will probably go see it, and then moan saying the book was better. (its always the case)

The bible is perhaps the worlds greatest work of fiction, what facts are there have been skewed and presented in a form that the vatican wants you to hear.

The current form of the bible was heavly edited in the 300's, the church at that time included onlt what they wanted you to hear.

The only time I would be prepared to listen and take any notice of the Catholic Church is when they open there libarys and archives, there is a lot of intresting documents and relics there that would be very interesting, but i suspect that if they ever did open the archives it would be like pandoras box and thus the end of Christianty.

While I'm not agreeing with this email... they are refusing to put a disclaimer at the start of the movie stating it is fiction. I think it's abit brave to state it's fact.

I don't think it's a marketing strategy. Whether it's labelled as fact or fiction isn't going to affect the amount of viewers, this is based on the contraversy the book has created already. The vatican is asking for the disclaimer not for the fact people are going to "believe" it, but for the principle. But thankyou for your patronising comment.

Its funny how the size of the movie makes the difference. Did anyone see DOGMA? It was so small of a movie and really pushed the theroies of Christ but the Vatican never protested.

Some day people will realize that it is just a movie. I guess there are many weak people who simply will follow anything they see.

Notice how quiet the Vatacin is withouth Pope John Paul II... The guy focused on peace and was very vocal to the world. I haven't heard jack from the new pope. Instead of focusing on a movie, focus on the Middle East and ways to bring peace. A true soldier of God would be fighting for peace not protesting a movie.
