Re: giving up the herb...

I quit smoking cigarettes 2 months ago. Cold turkey. Haven't looked back. Haven't had a craving. No sudden impulses to start again. I started running and feel great. Just stick with it and remember that if you don't really want to quit that you probably won't.

Wtf is that thing anyway?:shock::shock: nvm me :p

Keep up the good work anonin! Really, you don't want to wake up one day and find yourself hugging a tree. Ask Yao how that feels pokes Sean

I've been trying to quit these friggin' cigs for like a million times. After this weekend comes the final try. I'm fed up with going thru that same shit over and again. I have the none craving effect like palmer when I'm out off my usual "neighboorhood", but when I get home :what

#628166Post 23 of 50

Re: giving up the herb...

Good luck mate on quitting , I still smoke Hash but really on occasions , a big party or when going to see a big DJ that I like, I also was suprised that I was able to quit CIGGYS after 10 years of hard core smoking and I swear I didn;t reall suffer compared to the stories some people tell me when they try to quit.

Nothing than being natural man , yeah by the way I am back to playing football and I can see the diffrence on my body and health.

Re: giving up the herb...

Its been almost 2 years for me and I don't really miss it. I was a total pot head from age 15-25. Wake and bake before school, during school and as soon as I got out of class I was hitting the bong. Don't really miss it that much. I had to quit because of my job but oh well I could either smoke pot forever and make 40-50 grand or give it up like I did and 70+. Believe me if it wasn't for my job I'd be smoking rite now but you got to get your priorities in a row.

Re: giving up the herb...

i quit getting high about a year ago. i didn't really give it up, i just didn't enjoy it anymore, i got too paranoid and anti social when i smoked. actually, i smoke a bowl every few months if i'm drunk and it comes up, but then i just get dizzy as hell and pass out. hah

#628194Post 27 of 50

Re: giving up the herb...

you can smoke and still be productive, i have for years and will continue to do so i would rather smoke weed than drink daily so i will smoke until i have kids or it cost me something more than money plus like they say a friend with weed is a friend indeed.

that's exactly what happened to me. started giving me an anxiety disorder and panic attacks so i quit. used to be a major pot head. now i smoke very rarely and i've found that after quitting and getting rid of my anxiety i can enjoy a good buzz every once in a while instead of feeling like a caged squirrel when i'm high.
