Re: giving up the herb...

Good luck fella.

I use to smoke 'bout 1/2 or 3/4 oz a week, the last months i've cut down to about 1/8 on the weekends, i just wasn't feeling it anymore, just so whacked 24/7 it became normal for me. Have a couple of reefs before work, then when i got homne i just never smoked a cigg only blunts.

Today I've stopped smoking, 2 hours in and i'm doing ok.

Keep at it mate, try to distract yourself if you want a smoke, go do something and you'll forgwt the craving.

I quit smoking on 4/21, so like 3 weeks now, not a big change, I have a lot more time to do things now....but I definitely wasn't going to miss 4/20

For you smoking quitters out there, keep it up. each day gets easier and easier. Its only the 1st 3 weeks that suck.

Re: giving up the herb...

I've met those genius types who think they are actually smarter by smoking weed, while in college, or whatever. Now they are emotionally hooked and the bottom line is, your not on top of your game, I dont care how smart you are. You could be better in most areas of life by not smoking...I've known people that its literally ruined their lives, and they were headed for big things.

Re: giving up the herb...

I quit 7 months ago, one of the best moves I've ever made.

It got old, it was killing my social life, and I was constantly stressed out about re-upping, managing my supply, and about the money I was spending

I dont' miss it at all. I guess I was what they refer to in Half Baked as an enhancement smoker (...on weed?!!?) but what I have come to learn is that I enjoy everything so much more without it, because I don't have that cloudy layer btw me and the activity.

Life has it's own euphoria, THC is not necessary. I do miss sitting around and cyphering with my friends, but I did that for long enough, time to move on.
you can smoke and still be productive, i have for years and will continue to do so i would rather smoke weed than drink daily so i will smoke until i have kids or it cost me something more than money plus like they say a friend with weed is a friend indeed.
That really depens on the person. I could not, but I know people who are, it all depends on the person. I was far too content to sit in my basement zooted and watch Tivo. Not what I would call a life.
