Still not enough to make me ditch an Allen & Heath....
or Rane for that matter, however I do love the DJM-600 so I'm guessing there is some improvments this time around and all in all a quality mixer.

I'm consider going to Serato and Live though, so the Xone92 just makes sense for me.

Re: Pioneer Djm-800

I played with this last month, it's pretty cool. It feels exactly like the 600, as far as build quality and feedback of the faders/pots.

I have to reiterate, the Allen & Heath mixers are much better. I personally think they sound better, having used the 600 a lot and the xone 62, the 62 sounds clearer, cleaner. I also know that most of the clubs in the LA area now use a xone as their preferred choice.

I used to go to this club in chicago, and they had a xone 62 set up. One week, Lee Burridge came and brought the Xone V6, and I could absolutely tell the difference: it was the best it ever sounded there.

But yea, the 92, I have never been lucky enought to use, except for about 5 minutes last month, and it was sweet too. The knobs and faders just have a 'feel' that is better, it's hard to describe, but you feel like you can be more precise with your adjustments.

In other new, I want to buy a Xone 3d and a VF-1!!

Re: Pioneer Djm-800

I FINALLY played on a Xone 92 this weekend, and I must say that I don't really wanna go back to playing on my 600 anymore, so therefore I'm quitting dj'ing until someone buys me one of those babies. LOL.

Those things are SMOOTH. The faders are like glass, the infinite kill of the low eq and high eq is awesome and it really helps you to ride one bassline while keeping the other completely away.

It's kinda funny, it was my first time playing on an A&H mixer and it was also the best set i've ever played. I just wish I had recorded it.

Re: Pioneer Djm-800

Yeah, you never figure that "this night I'm gonna have my best set ever". It just happens. And it's mostly to do with those nice people that spend their time to come and hear you spin.

Re: Pioneer Djm-800

What about the djm800? Have u guys actually had the chance to use it? From the posts above I can see that xone92 beats the djm600 but how does it compare to the 800? I'm in the market for a mixer right now and i could use some feedback on the 800 as i'm only considering xone92 or djm800.

Re: Pioneer Djm-800

I know a few people who have ditched there xone 92 for the DJM800. Im hoping to get a hands on demo with the DJM800 on wednesday. Currently i have a xone 92, but if the DJM800 is as good as i have heard, i may be tempted to buy one.

Re: Pioneer Djm-800

i like the fact that it now comes with full kills on the eq, so that you can do even more intense mixing.
Your talking rubbish... I had a mess around with DJM800 yesterday, the build quality is fantastic. The casing is now metal oppose to plastic, the pots are solid and the faders are like penny & giles, just shorter. You can also alter the curve on the up faders, which i thought was really cool. Definatley as good as the xone:92.
