semirecreational use will almost always lead to regular use ... Not today ... not tomorow ... but with time youll want more and more ... and youll say ... Aaaah wtf ... there`s no way I can become addicted ... let me have some more ... And all this because once your body gets used to it ... you will need more and more and more ... and more ...
thats true, but you cant get addicted if u cant afford to have it every day. I as a student and some part time job can aford it 3-4 times a month, so for now it is impossible. When i graduate, i will probbably become a good guy, without charlie. :Honest:

No offence dude, but you are only 23, you would never have taken a REAL ecstacy pill (unless you started in junior school)

Re:: Ex-Ecstasy Clubbers Fuel UK Cocaine Craze

Sometimes its really ironic to see the results of technological development. The size of the quid of coca leaves that can be comfortably accomodated by a person is such that it is unlikely that coca chewing, as practiced for centuries in places like Macchu Piccu, presents the dangers that may result from the modern forms of recreational use. What a pity for the modern world!! ..its also impresive to realise that the most people act as a big crowd of sheeps and they accept everything without really think what is best for themselves and the environment..in that way only the "big heads" survive in the name of glory and money..what a shame for the rest of the world.. Its true that the effects of coca leaves are not so strong as the processed powder but..God made grass..man made booze..who do you trust??? I wish all people could think in a better and more beneficial way so our world would have been more pleasant in all aspects..

I can only back up what the report has stated.I work in a substance misuse clinic for the nhs here in the UK.I can honestly not remember the last referral we had for people absuing pills. It is always heroin, but cocaine is rapidly increasing. Its just the drug of fashion at the minute. Its an absolute nightmare to get off as well (or so i've been told)For heroin you can medically substitute it,but not so for cocaine.

Re:: Ex-Ecstasy Clubbers Fuel UK Cocaine Craze

I'm sure i heard that cocaine isn't physically addictive and in my own experiences i would agree with this, i think it's the social aspect that becomes habitual, if i cane a couple of G over a weekend, i dont crave for it the day after or anything, i recently gave up smoking after 20 years, and that was addictive, i went through hell, i'm not advocating the use of cocaine or anything, it sure is bad for you, but the conception that you will become "hooked" is rubbish imo.
I'm sure i heard that cocaine isn't physically addictive
Well, I guess you heard wrong. Cocaine can cause a terrible physical addiction, which is supposedly much worse than the heroin addiction. It is not as easy to get addicted, but once you are, the way out is very hard to find.

Nope it's hard physical addiction with craving, shaking and everything else included. I once read an article why all the south American Indians never developped any form of addiction although constantly chewing coke leaves. It is because coke leaf itself contains an antidote against the addictive substances. so, basically coke leaves contain the "venom" and the "antidote". But cocaine is produced by removing the antidote substances, thus strengthening its effects and making it... ...yup, addictive... But do not forget: IT IS NOT THAT EASY TO BECOME HOOKED ON COCAINE, but once you are, it's usually too late. So it's best to avoid regular use...

thats garbage, there is no physical addiction associated with cocaine use. find an article that says otherwise...

I don?t think that cocaine is pycsically addictive, although it would be difficult to prove either way. No scientist is going to delcare that is isn?t, especailly in the USA. They?d lose their funding straight away.

Re:: Ex-Ecstasy Clubbers Fuel UK Cocaine Craze

I'm sure crackheads and cokeheads steal, lie, and whore themselves because of the "social aspect" of the drug.

I'm not anti-drug in the least, but I hate it when people lie to themselves about the drugs they use. But in my experience, that is usually what happens anyway with prolonged use.

Be careful and educated, kiddo's.

Re:: Ex-Ecstasy Clubbers Fuel UK Cocaine Craze

Well i gotta say that i have know 2 guys that got into some serious problems with cocaine (no not me ya fuckers) Both were guys that actually dealt the stuff out and both snorted as much as they sold. When i asked them they said they sold it just to fund their habbit. It wasnt just a weekend thing either, they were at it all through the week too.

I think its down to the persons own willpower and human makeup as to wether you`ll find yourself addicted or not, i myself only do coke on the occasional weekend and do not for one instance think about it during the week.

Just my two penneth.

Re:: Ex-Ecstasy Clubbers Fuel UK Cocaine Craze

Sorry, my bad... Coke doesn't cause physical addiction, it causes a psychological addiction, because of physiological changes in the brain. I get a little confused with all the definitions. But anyway, extensive and regular use is bad, like with any other drug...

...except our sweet Mary Jane. :Blazed: :Blazed:

No, not yet. I spend most of my time at work and home now. I don't DJ anymore, just produce. Heh, I'm pretty boring these days, but I'll be moving to San Francisco by the end of the year so I'm happy about that.

you'd better learn the difference between physical and psychological addiction before you get all pissy. physical addiction causes withdrawals, usually quite nasty ones - people usually experience extreme flu symptoms. things like opiates and nicotine cause withdrawals. hell, benzodiazapine (things like valium, xanax) withdrawals can KILL you. cocaine, on the other hand, does not cause withdrawals...the body does not become dependant on it, only the mind. which is why its not as addictive as other classes of drugs. :EvilFlic:

2,5-Dimethoxy-4-Iodophenethylamine

a phenethylamine, similar to 2cb...its a 'research' chemical. not illegal at the moment, but i think it'll go the way of 2ct2 and 2ct7. dose is 10-25 mg, effects last 5-8 hrs, similar to ecstacy, but with visuals and much less sketchiness.

Re:: Ex-Ecstasy Clubbers Fuel UK Cocaine Craze

The only recreational drugs that form physical addiction are heroin, alcohol and nicottine Anything else is a psychological addiction which simply means that the user wants the feeling/high again, not that the body becomes dependant on the substance in their system
A bit of a smoke is not a drug habit.

But anyway, extensive and regular use is bad, like with any other drug... except our sweet Mary Jane.
Don't underestimate the regular use of ANY substance I've seen more peoples lives ruined by marajuana than any other drug, including heroin

There are no drugs that are better or worse than each other, even heroin can be used safely and recreationally without addiction, its not the one hit and you're hooked that you hear about Technically heroin is actually one of the cleanest drugs you can take... that won't get me ever trying it but if you want to find justifications for any drug, there's many for every one of them

Its simply the abuse of a substance which causes problems, not the drug itself

I can't advise on the bill with your dealer, but if you have trouble sleeping because of substances melatonin works great. Its available at your local health food store and its what your body naturally uses to put you to sleep or make you tired. Its also one of the most powerful antioxidants known to man (1000x vitamin C), some consider it an anti-aging drug.

Mazziiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiis Get a few of them down ya with a good helping of beer and a few dashes of poppers. Myyyyyyyyyyyy what a feeling that is.. or isnt.

This one time, my mate had quite a few mazzi`s in the pub on a Saturday afternoon with a generous helping of Stella, all seemed to be going well untill he stepped outside into the fresh air. Next thing i saw was his legs just calling it a day and him collapsing head first onto the pavement.. funny as fuck. Needless to say he never felt or remembered a thing. Ahhh the days :LoveYou:
