The former NBA star [jumped onstage and] doffed his shirt and pulled down his pants to expose his backside, prompting a disgusted Tiesto to storm offstage. ?Rodman chased after him, screaming that that he was sorry and for him to come back,? says a witness. A club spokesman confirmed that Rodman was escorted out when Tiesto refused to return to his turntables until ?The Worm? was shown the door.

Damn, I got all worked up with "Tiesto Attack" only to learn that nobody bunched that trance yuppie in the face. Weakest "attack" ever. How disappointing.

Re: Rodman?s On-Stage Tiesto Attack

Gotta laugh at all this Tiesto hating, get over it guys just because he plays music you don't like does not mean you have to continually slate him. Can't seem to recall ever hearing your 'idols' sasha and digweed ever slating fellow dj's the way some people on here slate tiesto etc

#522086Post 26 of 56

Re: Rodman?s On-Stage Tiesto Attack

^ tiesto lover imo

#522089Post 27 of 56

Re: Rodman?s On-Stage Tiesto Attack

ha ha not at all mate, just get tired of reading the tiesto hating stuff. Why waste your breath on him when you can PRAISE the dj's we do like, especially all the new up and coming talent out there.

Face it, hes more popular than digweed etc but just get on with it. Since when has popularity equalled the best?

#522092Post 28 of 56

Re: Rodman?s On-Stage Tiesto Attack

^ greg, i actually agree with you, but im just messin around...I am the one who loves tiesto

"Hate" is such a strong word to be using against someone you don't even know because you don't like their music tastes. It's immature. I think a lot of it just has to do with jealousy. Here's a guy, "Tiesto", that loves music (not the kind most of us like tho, oh wow, imagine that, human beings are different) and just went out and got something for himself. Everyone else spinning their sad little gigs, scraping by, posturing, etc...and everyone would like to be playing for thousands of people at every gig like he does and expect to because, "my music is better." <Yeah? well you're not convincing the thousands of people that drop mad cash to see Tiesto spin.

I don't like Tiesto's music at all. It's not even remotely close to anything i would call enjoyable. Tiesto as an person tho, respect, he went out and got it for himself.

Re: Rodman?s On-Stage Tiesto Attack

^ well said jenks, it seems like a vicious cycle. The prog community always seem to be bashing someone, if it isnt tiesto, its judge jules, or pete tong, or morillo or 'insert famous successful dj name here'

I dont frequent trance boards or oakey boards etc but i wonder if they go on there and bash sasha, digweed, burridge etc in the same vein as us?

#522107Post 31 of 56

Re: Rodman?s On-Stage Tiesto Attack

so what if tiesto spins to thousands people, nsync did thousands of people shows, i still dont have any respect to them go rodman!

#522108Post 32 of 56

Re: Rodman?s On-Stage Tiesto Attack

I don't even really understand it really. Its not like anyone here takes offense to it. It used to be funny when someone would defend his ass.

We should get ahold of a tiesto set and host it. There are people here that would enjoy it.

#522112Post 33 of 56

Re: Rodman?s On-Stage Tiesto Attack

:D - on that same note i'm sure that you could host a rodman set and people would love it. taste is not a prerequisite for downloading.

#522120Post 34 of 56

Re: Rodman?s On-Stage Tiesto Attack

I figured a fairy like Tiesto would love to see some man junk.

#522121Post 35 of 56

Re: Rodman?s On-Stage Tiesto Attack

The power of marketing and DJ worship is what brings in thousands of people to see Tiesto spin. You think those people really know anything about the music they're listening to? Doubtful. Do people even dance at Tiesto concerts or do they just stare at their idol and throw their hands in the air during the breakdowns?

#522122Post 36 of 56

Re: Rodman?s On-Stage Tiesto Attack

^does it even matter?
You think those people really know anything about the music they're listening to?
Hate to break it to you, but i'd say more than half the people that go to clubs don't really care. IT'S SUPPOSED TO BE A PARTY!!. <something a lot of people, er scenesters, are forgetting .

#522129Post 37 of 56

Re: Rodman?s On-Stage Tiesto Attack

Yes, it's supposed to be a party, not hero-worship. We have enough talentless pop stars as it is without the likes of Tiesto.

Re: Rodman?s On-Stage Tiesto Attack

Best quote ever:

"I was just explaining to PVDforanangel and asot#1fan why Delerium - Silence is better when Tiesto plays it."

Re: Rodman?s On-Stage Tiesto Attack
if it isnt tiesto, its judge jules, or pete tong, or morillo or 'insert famous successful dj name here'
the only thing about some of these dj's is that they've done numerous things determental to the scene in what seems to go unnoticed.

tiesto - has released from what i've heard to be 2 cds under his name who were mixed by someone else for him. one being a mix mag cd. IF that is true, then you begin to wonder if there are others.

if i learned tommorow that fabric 20 was really mixed by boris van chochkinstien and digweed just signed off on it, then i'd be pissed.

judge jules - has openly admitted to using tracks from soul seek on the air and during live sets.

pete tong - he doesnt bother me any but anyone who spends that much time talking over dance music is bound to get poked at once and awhile.

morrillo - i dont know anyone without a great pair of tits who enjoys his company. but thats also a perk to the job.

these are a few contributing factors concerning some of these guys reps. all im saying is that some of these people deserve what comes to them. it all just so happens they all play shite music.

but your also right that some people are very quick to jump the gun, most without having any real reasons. do we really need to recall the story of why sasha doesnt play vinyl anymore?
