Re: Depeche Mode

Saw them on Saturday. Top 5 concerts I've seen. Amazing. Sound system was awesome too, the bass was hitting so hard it got everyone into it. The stage display was top notch and the crowd was totally into it. They had 2 encores and they played amazing new and old tracks.

I'm glad i finally got to see them. Go get your tickets now!

Nice one. I thought I was the only one that loved that track. I've been toying wiht the idea of doing a remix of it.

Re: Depeche Mode

Only When I.....it's all about the Chris Micali remix! Still holds one of my most memorable clubbing experience....Digweed played it at Centro-Fly in 2003, he messed with the pitch so Dave G sounded like a woman....you had to be there...he finished his mix a week before on Kiss, so that's exactly what we were listening to before heading to the club...big ups for Chris, glad I own a copy of it.

As far as Depeche Mode.....my favorite band of all time, since I was a kid I grew up on them. Got tickets to Staples and Anaheim, 22 and 23. Love the new album too, Suffer Well, John the Revelator and my favorite, Sinner in me are outstanding tracks IMO.

Re: Depeche Mode

I saw them last Monday here in Houston and it was a great show. It was my first time seeing them and I really enjoyed it. They started off with the first two tracks on their new CD and played so many of their greatest hits. It was surreal hearing and singing along with tracks I remember back from the 80s and 90s like "Enjoy the Silence", "Everything Counts", and "Never Let Me Down Again".

Btw, Get there early for the Bravery if they open for DM in your town.

Re: Depeche Mode

man that is the only thing that sucks, in the concert im going to the bravery is not opening for them its the ravonettes. when i first saw that the bravery was opening for them i was like "fuck ya" but then i noticed it was mainly for the east cost concerts, but o well i still will enjoy DM this friday, cant wait.

"Playing The Angel" is such a grower. At first I wasn't into it but after multiple listens I must say its a fantastic album.

Greatest band of all time!

Re: Depeche Mode

I thought that I loved Depeche Mode, despite not owning any of their albums....just always digged their radio tracks. Then I bought the greatest hits and totally disliked it, bar about 3-4 songs.

BUT..........I'll readily agree they are EDM legends - enjoy the silence is a legend of a song, and some of the remixes of their stuff is off the hook

Re: Depeche Mode

Depeche Mode has always and will always be one of my favorite bands.

I think my favorite song of their is "Policy of Truth"- does anyone know of any good remixed versions of this song? Not that I think you can top the original, but you never know...
