it shows me that you are a part of the downloads group..... what do you see when you click on downloads ?

windows media player plays them fine as an mpeg. i havent had to rename them.

try logging out, clearing your cookies and logging back in, I see in the admin panel you're a part of the downloads group

nop , not working , i loged out and actually everytime i log out it says all cookies cleared but anyway i cleared from the IE preferences too and nothing , it shows the same options in the menu bar above , any ideas , im in a mac using IE 5.2.3

dont know why its not showing the link to you..... that's odd, its probably your OS / Browser combination because it checks to see if you are logged in, pls save that in your browser favorites

but if i try to download a set it brings a new page with a big quicktime logo and thats it , it looks like is loading something but nothing else happanes ,

that is your browsers default settings, it has nothing to do with MS.... your browser has been setup to automatically play sets rather then download them, you will need to reset those settings.... dont worry about the link, its a protection for the sets to not be linked remotely

first problem with the download section in the upper bar solved , i'm now using safari and it shows the download section but second thing is the same , instead of getting the file down it is loading the file in the same window to play it intead of download it as you said and i just cant find about that in the preferences , not in safari or explorer , can somebody help with this ,
