Re: READ IMO! SCARY UTAH RAVE SWAT TEAM BUST
if an outdoor concert featuring those bloody awful godrock boybands was being held and it attracted 6,000 kids all being lured into the satanic practices of christianity , then the media would concentrate on the happy smiling faces of the kids in the front and say what a wonderful event it all was . it wouldn't show the collection of puking teens that sneaked alcohol or drugs into it , or the rare cases of molestation or violence that does happen . that's the trouble with the media they don't show what happens they just go looking for what they want to happen. it isn't my country and my knoledge of the place is feeble but edm been in ure country since b4 mine . it's up to the experienced clubbers and promoters to change the perception of these events and up to lawyers to protect ure rights to hold them
right, other musical genres, have entirely different perceptions or stereo types in pop culture. the majority of voting americans, get there informaiton from the tv. mtv never plays techno, so it there for sucks. oh i was watching CSI and they showed a rave and it all kids on X and heroin. americas public is very gullable and ignorant (on this specific matter). now thats why its the first thing that coems to people minds when they hear about 'techno'. so people go looking for it. when you hear hip hop, you think sluts with big asses and a rack, wearing minimal clothing, so thats what the cameras go looking for, and any drugs and that kind of stuff, fade into the background.

the most intelligent thing you've said. and your helping me prove my point. the promoters have to be more responsible and must use a little more foresight when throwing an event like this.
