i went through 2 of the stocker headphones for my pod. second pair was given. find it weird that you say they worked well for you. both shit the bed. bad luck i guess.

iv'e tried loads of headphones for both mp3 player and home so without spending megabucks u gotta go for sennheiser sennheiser sennheiser sennheiser sennheiser sennheiser sennheiser sennheiser sennheiser sennheiser sennheiser sennheiser sennheiser sennheiser sennheiser sennheiser sennheiser sennheiser sennheiser sennheiser sennheiser sennheiser sennheiser sennheiser sennheiser sennheiser sennheiser sennheiser sennheiser sennheiser they are a bit good .. not tried a pair of sony that can get any clarity yet . i am a lil deaf and i pick up on any deviation on sound ( for some reason crackle or humming goes through my body like someone hit a nerve) and though i havn't tried shure and grado .. even the bottom end seinnheiser have largest frequency range and lowest distortion levels of any headphones in price range . i went for the hd650's cos they got largest range of any and i mean any headset they are a lil heavy but even if u got a 20k sound system at home with the full works put on at full blast will u be able to come close to the the sensation of listening to these things . i could go on and on and on and on and on and on and on and on about these things cos they realy do wipe the floor with headsets u can get for under a ?1000 and the px100's from what iv'e checked against the sure E3's senn kick their ass too . if ure gonna buy headphones the two things u look for are frequency range and noise distortion not, don't they look cool . or i saw sasha with a set of these . or these feel so conmfy .. thems are girly criteria .blokes do numbers .. so read em .. price frequency and distortion

So long as they aren't really gay looking white earphones :roll:

I just gots some HDJs for DJing and some fold up Sony ones for on the move :Bingo:

i,ve been using the same headphones for over a decade now.. [COLOR=#CCCCCC]Sennhesier hd25's, never had a problem with them

i also have a a set of [/COLOR][COLOR=#CCCCCC]Sennhesier 650's and a decent headphone amp that i use for cd's [/COLOR]

Really nice, i need a new pair but i doubt i will spend that kind of cash i will probably just get another pair of Bose.

i have had a pair of Allen & Heath XD-53's for many years, great headphones in and of themselves.

always wanted a pair of Grado's though and like the A&H's, the silver/aluminum style grabbed me, much like a Bugatti grill but i cant afford those lol.

these Grado's are incredibly light, surprised me and the sound is bar none, nothing compares. not even sure i can listen to music through my TV/Stereo anymore and that has a decent set of Definitive Technology's. very happy :)
