Re: John Digweed - Fabric London 12-02-05

someone here once made a long list identifying all the digweed kiss shows that were live, as opposed to the non-live, studio mixed stuff. anyone know where that posting is? live = usually hard/bangy/wicked. studio mixed = usually slower, lesser energy - he's testing out new tracks, that's all...

if you want the shows with zap, get his live kiss shows (and other lives). they're great.
I know that radio show and live is differnet man....I am just saying (imo) his radio show has not been good for the past 2 years....I have his kiss radio show sets from 2000-2002 and there more like how this live set is....Thats all i am saying dude. His radio show sux now. He could play a kick ass radio show once in a while...thats all most of us ever hear anyways from him. Its rere his live sets get out there anymore.
Re: John Digweed - Fabric London 12-02-05

sounds like the old dark prog digweed to me. maybe he resurrected it? it's one of those "it could be him" sets, although like many other ppl, i do wonder about the last hour... it's not the usual prog... but i don't think it's psychedelic like some has suggested. but it's certainly within the realms of diggers i think... one song even has a bit of that chemical brothers sound - like that electronic battle weapon 6 song sasha used to play... but i still wonder if it's him. my leaning towards not.

and what i don't understand is the fact that the eventshall set at the end of apr is all electro (as with the WMC set from march), but this set, supposedly played 2.5 months earlier is dark and bangy. huh? i don't get how his style could change so fast so quickly...

but... i did see him live in the beginning of april. the thing is he only had a 2 hour set (clubs close early in my city, compounded by the loss of time from the day light saving time that went into effect that sunday morning at 2am(!!! he played a few electro songs but quickly moved on to the hard, bangy stuff we all love from diggers... maybe it's only b/c he didn't have much time to build a st... but the eventshall set is... well... 90% electro!

Yeah they will be asking for the JohnDigweed-Fabric04-London-13-11-04 & John Digweed - Live Grand Hyatt Hotel, Dubai (05-may-2005) sets as well

These 3 sets all came from the same person. And it wasnt John Digweed

I have a serious request. Can someone please enlighten me about those sets from Fabric and the whole story about Digweed's fake sets, which are actually very popular here. Ended up with 2 different dates when reorganizing my Digweed folder. Found no detailed info about them.

13.11.2004 - 314mb, 3:48:41 hours long 12.02.2005 - 262mb, 3:11:13 hours long.

Thanks.
