Re: This is sad (Bombs in London)

Many sympathies from Texas over to London and all those effected.

Hopefully, we can use this awful incident to work even more diligently to find the terrorists organizations who are attacking our countries.

Re: This is sad (Bombs in London)

Yuck, today I heard some story about intelligence saying they had found documents stating some kind of order in which the bombings would take place. So far it has all been according to that schedule, and it says we would be next.

Damn I'm happy I don't live in Amsterdam or Rotterdam :? Hope it ain't true either, and if it is, that they only blow up our prime minister, who sucks balls anyway.

All my sympathy goes out to all Londoners, aspecially those who have been personally affected by this deed of religious pigs.

#446324Post 45 of 89

fear tactics only work short term. these people's goal is a complete joke. people enjoy living entirely too much to just sit down and be beat.

We will most likely never see end to Jihadists or terror in our lifetime.

It is very sad these people give their souls for such a worthless cause.

Re: This is sad (Bombs in London)

Sad, but true. I'm not a fatalist at heart, but seriously, what could make all of this stop. These terrosist fuckers will never stop until what ever fucked up goal they want to accomplish is accomplished. The rest of the sane free world will never give up trying to stop them. It will be a reoccuring cycle from now until the end of time or until Iran or North Korea gives them a nuke...then we're all fucked.

My heart goes out to those all across Great Britain. Rest assured that we are going to do our part to fight back against these terrorists by going ahead with our planned honeymoon. We fly into London next Tuesday and will surely enjoy every second of our time there.

Nice one ska. Stay safe.

Re: This is sad (Bombs in London)

i reckon the bombs were planted by our own government to take the focus off having to drop the 90 billion pounds of debt from third world countries.

see, if geldoff and co. continue with the "dropping the debt" shit, how bad will they look? Focus (and pressure) is now well and truly off the whole debt issue, and is now (sigh, again) focused on terrorism, a superb military and economical tactic perfected by our friends on the other side of the ocean.

When the heats gets a bit too much, blow up some stuff. Blame it on the middle east.

a few bombs, a few lives, a great way to save a few billion.

Does no one else see a pattern emerging here?

Re: This is sad (Bombs in London)

A really really sad day - particularly given the years of peace since the IRA came to its sense and ran down its operation.

The problem with terrorism is that its indescriminate and has a complete disregard for human life ... its evil is boundless. There is so little to be served or gained by it.

I suppose all London can di is to take a leaf of of NYC's book - you have to soldier on with your way of life and not give in to the fuckers.

Re: This is sad (Bombs in London)

My deepest thoughts and sympathies go out to all Londoners. I can't believe there are people this messed up in the world. The sad thing is that many politicians/experts keep saying they were expecting this to happen at one point or another. I remember the anti-terrorism drills in the underground when I lived there for 4 months, but how prepared can any city be for an attack like this? I only pray that this horrible activity stops soon, although that doesn't look to be the case. :(

Re: This is sad (Bombs in London)

it's kinda weird on my front that this happened today. As I went to the library today I found out my copy of 25th hour was in. I wanted to watch it badly. Then I get home to find out this happened over there. I put in the dvd and looking through the menu, there is a spot where the cinematographers filmed the wreckage from 911, it had such powerful visuals of the trucks going up and down the road and all those people in the snow trying to clean it all up. This all with some extremely powerful music that made me almost break down and cry over all this happening. I really am sorry that this had to happen over in the UK. Hopefully this will make the governments of the rest of europe and here to make their screenings a bit more extensive.

Keep an eye to the sky!

Jeffrey

Fuck me, I just found out that Lindsay Germaine (one of the London bombers) tried to declare his undying love for my sister-in-law a few years back. They both took leading parts in a play that was staged in Huddersfield where he too a shine to her. Thank fuck she told him she wasn`t interested. Apparently though, he was a nice chap. :?

Imagine being related to a suicide bomber <-- that could have been me.

Re: This is sad (Bombs in London)

SERIOUSLY!?

what the fuck is going on?

http://news.bbc.co.uk/1/hi/uk/4703777.stm

Minor explosions using detonators only have sparked the evacuation of three Tube stations and the closure of three lines, a BBC correspondent has said.

Re: This is sad (Bombs in London)

I think that they are studying the way that we respond to an attack.. study our methods and tactics for maybe a bigger scaled attack after the first minor one.. or a distraction for something bigger maybe overseas?? Either way why blow some shit up and not kill anybody??

You're too right...that's the whole point of terrorism in the first place.

I read something that said the points of the explosion sights formed a cross...can anyone confirm that??? If so that is a pretty bold move, not only setting off bombs but making a religious statement at the same time. These fuckers a getting too brave. :x

Re: This is sad (Bombs in London)

this is fuckin bullshit. the people who do this are a bunch of fuckin cowards. basically, they're saying that they can't get what they want so they're going to hurt others so that they can get what they want. it's fucking bullshit. i really hope those involved get tortured.

Unfortunately, we are of the "civilized world" and don't condone something so vile. Not where anyone can see anyway. There's hope.

 1. You clearly have absolutely no idea about your government's foreign policy for the last 100 years.
 2. "There's hope"? You think that's funny?
