I was watching it on VH-1 and was so mad when they cut away during the Pink Floyd set - grrr!!!!! Rewatched the whole thing on AOL though :)....

Pink Floyd was about the ONLY good performance of Live 8. Everyone else was horrible.
I watched most of it, since i was totally spent from going to see Danny T. and trust me most of the performers sucked!!!!

Couldnt agree with you more....some of them were just laughable...its amazing that some of these artists are making the money they do becuse most sounded horrible on live 8.

^^^ the geezer that used to "sing" for Soundgarden :shock: ... i dont know too many people that could have sounded worse. Almost as bad as when Axel Rose came out on MTV a couple years back and ran out of breath coming out on stage.

Chris Cornell? I didn't see the performance but he is considered by many to be the best vocalist in rock today, although I personally can do without all the high notes. I saw him 2 years ago (now with Audioslave) and he was in fine voice. Maybe he was off that day?

Cornell used to bring it wen he was with soundgarden...remember Jesus Chirst Pose, that song rox......oh no i am going back to my metal dayz.

^ What r you talking about you could of watched the whole damn thing on tv. Also I have the pink floyd set. But is only the mp3 not the video. If anyone wants it let me know. What a great show. Pink Floyd definetly was the act on all the live 8 shows. So glad I was able to at least see this on tv.

No your talking about Velvet Revolver and the lead singer used to sing with Stone Temple Pilots...

No your talking about Velvet Revolver and the lead singer used to sing with Stone Temple Pilots...[/quote] Audioslave (Chris Cornell of Soundgarden fame and all of Rage Against The Machine aside from Zac) was also in Berlin...maybe he was talking bout them...
