I'm not particularly into country music but I heard it's an acquired taste

So you come out of hiding months later to show just why you went into hiding.....nice.

Re: Regardless of Genre - a good song is a good one

Yes hiding Mike, you were unbanned a while back and I even PMed you about it. So call it what you would like.

#1715912Post 5 of 48

Re: Regardless of Genre - a good song is a good one

So what if i'm "unbanned"? Why does that mean I'm hiding from anyone/anything? Far from it, I come here often to catch up with the people I like. Rather than remove the ban I was hoping you'd have the balls to explain why you banned me in the first place but hey ho, we all expect too much of others from time to time. Given your latest new favourite song a couple more plays today an I was maybe being a bit hasty last night, it's worse than dogshit. Enjoy the weekend big lad

Easy ;)

Re: Regardless of Genre - a good song is a good one

You were banned cause (just like your last post proves) you've sprouted a vag and started trolling the boards. And yes you do expect a red carpet laid out for you - grow up, it's the internet, no one missed you.

PM me if you have a problem. Otherwise you can head on over to the bobjuice forums and leave your "dogshit" there.

What about me?? I already have a vag, but please tell me where I was spreading any sort of shit. ?? Despite allusions to warnings etc. I never received any or any explanation of why I was banned. The closest conclusion either of us could come to was that we disagreed with an administrator. Didn't swear , or abuse, just had a different , albeit strongly held, opinion.

And you are dead wrong!! It you check the users who stopped coming and contributing it may give you an idea of how many people missed Bobjuice. I miss them as well.

Interestingly because we were not banned for the whole site we didn't show as banned. We were still able to contribute to the music . :) Just to reinforce, while it is my choice not to come here very often now, like bobjuice, for many months we didn't have that choice and were never told why.

Oh, and I don't like the song either.

That's a fucking joke of a reason and not really worthy of comment but, in the absence of anything real or justifiable, I guess i'll have to accept it as better than nothing LOL

Why am I not surprised to see something from you? Shake the troll wagon and they start falling out of the sides. Your's and Bob's reactions are typical of trying to stir the pot. You have a problem, why don't you or him ever PM me? The only person who ever PMed you both was me, yet here you and him are trying to jolt the posts in getting a reaction form the crowd.

Seriously guys, people don't come here anymore because those who made the forums what they were, are no longer the partying crowd and the younger folks on here are here for the music alone.

So get yourselves.

If the collective lot of you don't see what you're doing, individually, there's even less hope for you. Hence the reason for my being so eloquent.

Mike, you just continue to prove my point - so you both can continue to hammer away in this thread.

I left for a while, I didn't like what another member said about taking pictures in clubs and of Diggers. I didn't bitch, just left. I realized I missed this place and came back. It is true, I no longer club every Saturday, but that has to do a lot more with the way music has changed. It isn't just due to the fact I'm older. I'm glad I made lasting friendships with some members here.

Offence cannot be given, it can only be taken. I'm not the only one to say the tune was shit, (still awaiting positive comments) in fact some have commented since and been told "thanks for listening". Funny old world innit?

When the fundamental canons of truth, honesty, compassion and decency are hourly assaulted by fatuous bishops, pompous, illiberal and ignorant priests, politicians and prelates, sanctimonious censors, self-appointed moralists and busy-bodies, what recourse of ancient laws have I? This is quite moving. Not only do I respect this guy, but have an affiliation to his wisdom and compassion by means you just cannot explain. Amen, according to the gospel of reality.

 1. I believe the argument over members being banned, how ever many months ago should have been resolved then and there. Shall we move on?

Re: All the Trolls in the house raise your hands.

^^^ That is easy to say if you weren't one of the ones arbitrarily banned  The arbitrarily was the issue for me. But you see it didn't stop then .We had to watch as it was claimed we were warned and given a reason and then not being in a position to defend ourselves, even from the snide remarks of other members. :) It niggles just a tad. :) The only correspondence I received was months into the ban from Kamal telling me I was no longer banned . I just can't see MS in the same rosy way I did a couple of years ago. I used to love this place. Now I have put it out in the open, as far as I am concerned it is resolved. I didn't take the same route as some others re reregistering, but I definitely understand why they did.

Stephen Fry, absolutely love him to death!! Wonderful person, and feel very much as you do about him. But he does get offended quite a lot and is very, very passionate about it. Which I think is a good ! It's the people who are offended passionately that speak out as he does achieve.

You know DiDi, for someone who openly professes her disdain for this place, you sure stick around to bitch a whole lot and incite the crowd. And with all the "intelligence" that you portray on the boards, it amazes me that you present the same ridiculous question again and again.

Well just for the record and so that EVERYONE now knows (since you like bellowing it out in the open) and despite you guys being warned repeatedly about it, I'll tell you AGAIN why you and Bob were banned.

Because you and your little troupe have a phenomenal way to CONSISTENTLY ruin threads with your negative opinions. When it initially started, it was all shits-and-giggles until it became more of a habit than anything, whereafter, you were both warned about it because every interesting thread was being turned to shit by the two of you. But this train of a warning steam-rolled right past you both and you continued to ruin all the interesting threads.

The most recent ones that jump to mind (which I was personally involved in) are the last London Olympics thread and the Mars thread about Nasa spending a whole lot of money to go there.

Funny that despite the warnings, conversations continued to get sidetracked and your little puppy in a handbag blindly followed suit right away. Individually (as it was becoming increasingly apparent), neither of you had a teaspoon worth of meaningful opinion to contribute, but jointly, its the Soviet Union of Trolls United. Where do you guys get together to decide how to jointly make the next strike?

And if you post again WHY you were so-called "arbitrarily" banned, then either you're hiding behind stupidity, just to continue to stir the boards, or you seriously are a ton of bricks and perhaps a permanent banning is the best solution for you both because since the place has already gone to hell (as you both seem to constantly complain about), I'd rather it go to hell knowing I won't have to have this conversation again.
Maybe risking stating the obvious but all the other reactions you've quoted there came after you threw your toys out of the pram, so maybe not such a valid comparison.
Mike, I explained to you very specifically in my PM why this would be a permanent ban. You were very worried about my missing "balls" earlier in the thread and why I didn't have the courage to PM you directly why you were banned. Well I did.

And it's also clear as daylight you HAVE sprouted a vag because not only did you not have the courage to reply to me, JUST as I told you in my PM, it is sickeningly lame you have to depend on a woman to be the man that you show yourself to be and bring up my PM on the boards to come at me.

You're quiet until Didi posts and no sooner does she bring up my name, you're next in line waiting to dish out your two-bits. Grow the fuck up. Seriously. This is the last warning to you both because despite me sending you that PM, you're doing EXACTLY what I PMed you to refrain from doing.

kamal, you're going about this in the wrong way. you should encourage everyone to voice their opinion regardless whether you agree with it or not. i think we're all mature enough to accept or reject someone's online posting

note i don't post much here anymore because someone kept deleting my posts. but after reading various threads lately, it sounds like other users are experiencing the same treatment. that's very unfortunate for a board of open minded people...
