A Sasha/Zabs tag team isn't too bad. ;) I love Sasha but have heard him play a few too many times in the past year. Zabiela on the other hand has only played in NYC a few times in the past 9 or so months. So if given the choice I'd definitely have to say Zabs. Final note: He freakin rocked it at Cielo last month!!

Either way, you have to really admire JZ for his efforts at incorporating different styles and brining traditional Hip Hop turntablism into the dance music scene. Technically he is better than Sasha but then again I hardly think sasha gives a shit because he has already made it.

frankly this is my biggest issue with JZ. I love his style but sometimes it goes over board. he really has a nice track going and boom it is chopped up and cut into pieces. as you stated ... his technical skills are fab. it is amazing watching him. he does a lot.

it has been hard from me to adjust prog sounds with scratching. please forgive me.

i saw them playing together back to back and that and it seemed sasha liked zabielia better than himself...plus the whole computer thing is a piss off...he will always be such a legend though....

Sasha! Zabiela is technically very good, but it just doesn't work on the dancefloor. People wanna party... scratchy, loopy, fx-thingies. Last year Zabiela played after Sasha at Dance Valley and he managed to get the place deserted.

After seeing Sasha and Zabiela recently at HiFi i have to say zabiela.. even though sasha played an awesome mix he just seemed bored up there.. Maybe Z has more energy but his set i heard was magic.
