Have listened to both discs and dare to say a masterpiece, a really remarkable listen this is not. Maybe expectations on my side were too high. Maybe it grows upon repeated listens.

I've listened to both discs as well, and nothing stood out on first listen. I think he played it too safe. Would have been fun to have a disc full of trendy tunes instead of both being "timeless".

grab the tiefschwarz renaissance cd, otherwise known as "now that's what I call deep house 2013". Its completely soulless, but an enjoyable listen nonetheless
