I'm no fan of Piers (his views on the phone hacking scandal come off as hypocritical to say the least), but Alex Jones is a fucking moron and exemplifies the worst parts of fringe American culture - someone that feels that screaming nonsensical bullshit over other people instead of actually being able to have an actual conversation. It usually exemplifies how fragile their argument is when they're behaving in a willfully ignorant manner like this.

But then again, what the hell did Morgan expect when he invited him on?

You know what, the more I think of it, it seems like Piers Morgan's career is mirroring Geraldo Rivera's - started out reasonably respected and slowly descending into the muck and going for more and more sensational bullshit to keep the ratings up. CNN is really starting to reach if they keep this crap up.

Hopefully the NRA staunch moronic position is slowly losing its influence in the USA and we are becoming more level headed when it comes to stuff like this. But I wouldn't put it past southern rednecks to be scared of all the minorities who will take over their land if they impose any gun restrictions.
