Well, only pre-ordering on the Renaissance website gets you the autographed copy. My guess is they will begin shipping them out on the 21st.

Re: Nick Warren Renaissance Master Series

Listening to CD1, lovely vibes. Oh, by the way, Nick did not sign my mp3s, Ni. Why's that?

"Devil’s Elbow" is the new single, with a Max Cooper Remix.

Stumbeleine should have been featured.

Cell = classic Sound Garden.

Terje Saether - Oia = Tune

Summer Rainstorm = AMAZING track, Rob. Best track on CD1

Bubble Club - The Goddess = so lovely. Another winner. Not a licensed track

Epic Coldcut-style ending.

Any idea what's happening with pre orders made through HMV? Looks like there's something wrong with their UK webpage and I can't check the status of my order....

Re: Nick Warren Renaissance Master Series

didn´t hear much that balance mades .. because there wasn´t a downtempo side really ?

I´m just on treasureOne here and is a far Beautiful Warren masterpice

for my taste maybe · .. I Awake _ Labyrinth .:: is not necessary but like I said : that is just for may taste

the intensive care change of Sounds with those mental voices . .:: ive´d seen things .. people wouldn´t believe ¨ inside the landing of the Oia gem

is

and the buenos aires dub is adriana lima up there

that version in hernán hands can be so extremely Grooving

Re: Nick Warren Renaissance Master Series

Won't comment on the downtempo disc yet, as I had to interrupt that one every 5-10 minutes which completely destroyed the flow.

Listened to disc two on a car trip yesterday. Overall it left me pretty unsatisfied. Can't think of any standout track bar the last track, of which I thought it was pretty good. Maybe I just was not in the mood as I was on my way to an unpleasant business situation... or I am just not into these sounds anymore... Another listen will tell.

#1666779Post 68 of 138

Re: Nick Warren Renaissance Master Series

The first disk is really complex... it seems to require my full attention. It is beautifully mixed.. I really like it so far. Haven't listened to the 2nd one yet. His Balance 18 is one of my favorite albums.. so I seem to like his style in general, but cd1 is nothing like his bal 18

#1666795Post 69 of 138

Re: Nick Warren Renaissance Master Series

I'm going out on a limb and say: the first two live Sound Gardens had first parts superior to CD1 here, more deeply layered, almost a flux.

#1666864Post 70 of 138

Re: Nick Warren Renaissance Master Series

nothing offensive here, but nothing to get too excited about either

Re: Nick Warren Renaissance Master Series

CD1 was pretty good but CD2 is where it's at for me! I'm really digging it and to Darin Epsilon on here: Shine The Light is seriously one killer track! Rock on.

#1666964Post 73 of 138

Re: Nick Warren Renaissance Master Series

Got a chance to listen to CD2 three times in past few days... Great flow.. love it.

Re: Nick Warren Renaissance Master Series

After listening to this CD a couple of times I have to say i´m a bit disappointed. I was really looking forward to listen to this and was expecting something amazing like his Reykjavik or Amsterdam CDs. Instead I got an okay CD, nothing bad but nothing great either. Maybe it was the high expectations I had that let me down. I´ll give it a couple of more tries, maybe it´ll grow on me but tbh I think its going to go on the stack of average CDs I never listen to. Lets hope I´m wrong.......

#1667110Post 77 of 138

Re: Nick Warren Renaissance Master Series

wow. i almost wish i would have waited to order this after reading all these reviews. I thought it sounded pretty awesome from the preview.......hope i dont have to wait to much longer to make my own evaluation.

#1667111Post 78 of 138

Re: Nick Warren Renaissance Master Series

cd 2 is pretty bangin man...its not like a bad cd..maybe no extra pufff in it but its def worth a few listens

#1667117Post 79 of 138

Re: Nick Warren Renaissance Master Series

The first cd is very similar to "Soundgarden" I had a good feeling the first time I heard it, the second is not bad, some great tracks on it and maintains a very consistent line, I like.

not expecting too much from this compilation, so, for me is very good.

I want to emphasize in ....

Cristian R - Deimos

One of the most beautiful tracks I've heard in the last couple of years. Just brilliant.
