^ +1 ... don't wait for the perfect time... after my wife and I got married I sort of asked myself why I didn't do it sooner. Although I would suggest an engagement of 6 months - 1 year max... the engagement part was pointless, but that's because we had already dated for 4 years.

We've been together for over 10 years and just bought a house. We're married in the eyes of the law (Common law) but not in the eyes of religion. Maybe we'll get married someday!

Something me and the Mrs. are going with, to us we agreed that a day to celebrate our occasion was not a necessity.

This May I will be married for 17 years with two beautiful children (10 & 2). My wife is the best, I guess she has to be in order to put up with my ass!
