Re: Are you Married?
I do most of the dishes by hand since we don't have a dishwasher and I keep all my beauty products in a basket that is stored away when I'm done and I do all the cooking. :D
Man, I hated doing dishes by hand last year. I've got a dishwasher now so it makes it so much easier and quicker. But Gallagher was right, you gotta wash the dishes before you put them in the dishwasher. My woman is slowly coming around to this idefa. I took over the dishwashing duties a long time back simply because I couldn't trust her to do a good job lmao! Funny you mention the beauty products basket - that's exactly what the wife did on wednesday, and her countertop is clean. "I really like having a clean countertop now...everything is organized!" (I facepalmed). I'm the better cook in my house, but my wife can cook pretty damn well. My comment above was directed at the several dozen women I've known (non-religiously) over the last decade and a half who have either bragged about screwing up mac and cheese, living on hotdogs because they don't know how to cook, or going out all the time because they can't cook (which is really damn expensive and kinda wasteful).
Seriously though..what happened to the mom-teaches-the-daughter-how-to-cook tradition? I guess that's too conservative.
