DEEEEJAY MIKE HUNT

#364851Post 49 of 134

do you want it to be a pseudonym? ie: tilt, quivver, etc... or just a spin on your real name, like Mike Storm for example.

#364855Post 50 of 134

Im not bothered, when i see something that stands out, be it a play on my name or a pseudonym ill take it.

Mike Storm is a start though.

I think Mike Storey is cool personally

#365012Post 54 of 134
I think Mike Storey is cool personally
Agreed. Sometimes less is more.

#365017Post 55 of 134

Well thats 3 for Mike Storey then.

Hmmm. I`m still not convinced myself.

#365018Post 56 of 134

Mike Storey

#365022Post 57 of 134
Hmmm. I`m still not convinced myself.
Because you've heard it your whole life. I like the fact that if I heard it for the first time out of the mouth of someone else I wouldn't have known if they said Mike's Story or Mike Storey. I think audibly it has a little fun with the ears and brain. Believe me, I would be changing my name if I ever made it big, but I think yours works.

#365032Post 58 of 134

^^Thats very interesting and very true sir, thanks for that.

Hmm

P.s what is your real name?

Not filbert winkler i hope

#365057Post 59 of 134

#365083Post 60 of 134

How about "Bathroom (s)talker"?

#365084Post 61 of 134

Naaaaahhh...Mike Storey actually sounds very ok. Simple, real...and since it's your own name, you have a binding with it.

Or: Mad Mike Storey.

#365178Post 62 of 134

Honestly, I think Mike Storey is just fine. :D

#365189Post 63 of 134

Yeah man, Mike Storey sounds just fine. It?s short and has a nice sound, because of the "k" and the "st". Besides, it?s easy to remember.

And think about the wordplay in the magazine headlines...stuff like "Storeyteller" or whatever...

Really, I have a DJ friend whose real name is Juan Del Salto...I always told him that his name was great as stage name, but he decided to call himself DJ Dusk. He?s lucky cuz his records are played by Chus & Ceballos, Steve Lawler, etc., but now there?s a guy called Dousk and a hip-hop DJ called exactly DJ Dusk, so he?d be better off if he had listened to my advice.
How about just using your own name?

Honestly, I think Mike Storey is just fine. :D
I've always thought DJs that use their real names (well, as real as we know) were cooler than those with names like DJ Assface or DJ Block Rocker. Look at all the famous DJs that go by what they lead us to believe is their real name...it's a pretty extensive and star studded list.

#365485Post 76 of 134

i agree, there are also some top dj's that use pseudonyms.

sasha three deep dish

#365486Post 77 of 134

#365489Post 78 of 134
