I'll give a +1 for the faster. everything seems faster, program load times, deleting multiple emails (which took forever on the previous version), and call clarity (could be psychological but it does seem better)

Re: Blackberry Users Thread.
I have a BB question and didnt want to start a new thread...
My friend has a BB Curve, she has T-Mobile.. well she got a new phone (long story) and said I can have the Curve, I have at&t, how can I get the BB on my at&t service? does it need to be "unlocked" or something, and if so, how does that work?
Re: Blackberry Users Thread.
i think att offers the blackberry curve. i think all you should have to do is put your sim card from your current phone into that one and it will work.
im not an expert about this, but i think that should be ok. i think those are ok to move between carriers.
Re: Blackberry Users Thread.
that makes sense.. thanks!
Re: Blackberry Users Thread.
No you WILL need to unlock the device. What your friend can do and provided she has been a TMO customer for more than 6 months, she can call TMO and state that she is going to travel overseas and needs to have her phone unlocked. Given the 6 month tenure, TMO will happily unlock the device. You can then use it on ATT.
Re: Blackberry Users Thread.
doh. well that doesnt sound too hard either. can you just do that yourself if you can find how online? dont you just have to type in some type of special codes and it will do it, if tmobile wants to be bitches about it?
Re: Blackberry Users Thread.
yes you can buy unlock codes from ebay (or other places) for $5 or so bucks but generally TMO is very helpful (we have unlocked more than 6 phones at work over the last several years without any complaints).
