Well, my HP dv6000 effectively died today. Screen had been flickering for a day, and then the inverter went out (my guess) and the whole goddamn screen is now dark as hell. Not even 1.5 years. I guess this is what I get for buying a piece of shit HP... god damn those fuckers, they can choke on a cock and go to hell
Honestly, I don't want a bunch of fancy features as much as I just want a laptop that can physically last more than two fucking years. This one made it to 1.5 and the Dell before that (oh god...another organization that can just fuck off and die) about the same before the CD-rom died.
So...which option would you pick?
- Invest the $30 and the time in learning to replace the inverter myself - assuming that is even the real problem.
- Calll HP so that I can enjoy hearing them tell me that they will fuck me hard - i.e., replace the whole screen for like $600 and a month of waiting around.
- Call it a loss and try to get something that actually fucking works for a change. Any comments or experiences with macbooks?
- Not learn my lesson and drop 1.5-1.7k on something like a Sony or a Lenovo, which will probably just end up being the exact same steaming pile of shit.
I guess I don't have that much of a point with this other than to vent. So, in conclusion let me just say...
Fuck those inbred pricks at HP. They can die.
Fuck those bastard cunts at Dell. I hope they all get raped by goats.
Fuck all PCs for that matter. I'm sick of all these manufacturers who continuously excrete a putrid stream of models with retarded names like the "DFZ 4855t" when it is all just the same cheap, ass-ugly, poorly performing SHIT slapped together somewhere in China.
Thank you.
