Re: Crysis

Re: Crysis

It is so amazing to me that Crytek not only brought out the best single player game since HL2, but also brought out a deep as hell, full-featured multiplyer component with it. I would buy Power Struggle on its own...it's that good!

Re: Crysis

I'll wait for nvidia's new chipset (780i & 790i) to be released. The 790i will support new processor technology 45nm + ddr3 + tri-sli! We are talking about some kick ass hardware :)

Re: Crysis

Finished it yesterday. Definitely the best game I've ever experienced!!! Too shame I couldn't played it with everything maxed out. Actually nobody does but at least with 4xAA it would have been better.

anti-alias is a process that reduces the "saw" effect on some lines. look on wiki!

Anti-aliasing is a process used in computer-generated graphics to help curves or straight lines appear smooth and blend in with surrounding images. This is done by blurring hard edges, making them appear less jagged or pixelated. The blurring is accomplished by mixing the color of the line that appears jagged, and the surrounding colors. With your specs, you have to play a little bit with the settings inside the game. Unfortunately, you won't be able to improve things in Crysis with your current setup since it's a very demanding game. You'll need at least a dual core 2.0ghz, 2gb ddr2 800mhz, and a decent GPU.

Re: Crysis

erm, if i put it on x2 it looks black, and if i put it on x4 it looks green, and i put all setting in low in 1024x768 and still kinda slow...not that smooth as i would like to play it :( dammit!

Re: Crysis

Don't even think about using Antialiasing in Crysis:P Even my pc can't handle Crysis with AA enabled. I have all settings on 'Very High' except shaders which is set on 'High'.

My specs: Operating System: Windows Vista Ultimate 64bit Processor: Intel Core 2 Duo E6700 @ 3.45ghz Motherboard: Asus P5N-T Deluxe Graphics Card: MSI nVidia GeForce NX8800GTX 768MB DDR3 OC Edition (650/2110) CPU Cooler: Cooler Master Eclipse Hard Drives: 1x500gb + 1x320gb SATA 16mb cache Power Supply: Corsair 620W SLI Ready Memory: 2GB Super Talent DDR2-800 @ 1005mhz

Re: Crysis

Playing this game on a console would be like playing it on low on a PC. What's the point?

Re: Crysis

The point is for a company to make more money.
