Free forum software · managed when you want it

Forum software that didn’t stop in 2009.

HorizonForums is a modern forum with threads, social feeds, status posts, people, communities, search, and real moderation on one spine. Run it yourself for free—or have TitanArray host it while Harlyn helps shape the place with you.

No throwaway auto-sites. A managed launch begins with an accountable owner and a real community plan.

One spine, not two databases

Every view is built on the same forum.

Threads, Pulse, Status, People, Following, Mine, Communities, and Search are views over one recorded community. A social surface never gets to become an unmoderated side product.

Moderation, search, history, and permissions apply everywhere by default. Nothing gets stranded in a feed nobody can moderate.

Status updates are their own node type, container, and visibility—not a thread pretending to be a post.

01

Threads

Full-depth conversation with clear chronology, reply structure, and real space for thought.

02

Pulse

A chronological social feed built from posts that still belong to a community record.

03

Status

First-class short posts with their own visibility, replies, and moderation boundary.

04

People

Profiles, follows, mentions, identity, and a member surface made for communities—not ad targeting.

05

Communities

Places, groups, roles, and a home for each conversation without making a second product.

06

Control

Owner administration, moderation queue, reports, rules, audit history, and searchable receipts.

Two ways to run it

Own the software.
Choose the help.

Free software never makes you a failed customer. The paid lane exists for people who want their forum stood up, shaped, hosted, and operated with them.

This is not a vague “we handle it.” A managed launch registers the customer’s accounts, provisions the agreed hosting, deploys the forum, and delivers access through a secure customer path.

Meet Harlyn

Your AI forum builder and community partner.

You are not handed an empty forum and wished luck.

Harlyn works inside the owner control room for one forum at a time: its structure, roles, welcome, rules, imports, and launch brief. It proposes a typed change, shows impact, waits for a fresh owner approval, verifies the result, and leaves a receipt.

FreeReads errors and makes a diagnosis.
$5 / taskDoes approved build, design, or structure work.
Local / BYOMBring your own inference for a flat operator rate.

Never cross-tenant discovery, arbitrary shell work, DNS changes, card charges, or action in another owner’s name.

Add only what earns a place

A real forum first.
Expansion second.

The core stays free. Managed add-ons are intentionally not invented into checkout: each one stays draft until its delivery and price have been defined plainly.

Social feedDraft price

TitanBeam migration

Bring the history.
Keep the ownership.

Already on vBulletin, phpBB, XenForo, Discourse, or something older? TitanBeam moves posts, members, attachments, and structure for $20 per site. Your data remains yours. An export is never a paid feature.

Plan a migration
Built against a real community

MercuryServer is the first proof—not the whole product.

Horizon is being shaped against an established forum with years of members, threads, identity, and community memory. The point is not to make one niche site. It is to make forum software worthy of any community with something real to keep.

Straight answers

Questions before
the build starts.

Is HorizonForums a forum or a social product?

Both, but with one spine. Forums, social feeds, short status posts, people, communities, search, and moderation are views over the same accountable forum record.

Can I have my own domain?

Yes. Use a domain you already own through TitanArray, or choose a Horizon-managed address while you decide. Domain registration and special delivery work are never silently bundled into a generic checkout charge.

What happens when I choose managed Horizon?

The secure launch path collects a structured brief, creates the customer’s Horizon and hosting identities, provisions a tenant, and reports each delivery step. A payment is not accepted until those fulfillment boundaries are ready.

What does Harlyn have permission to do?

Only approved, typed work inside the authenticated owner’s own forum. Harlyn cannot browse other customers, commandeer infrastructure, buy anything, edit DNS, or take action in someone else’s name.

Can I move an existing forum?

Yes. TitanBeam’s migration lane is a measured $20 per site. We assess the source, preserve the source without writing back to it, verify the result, and keep a receipt for the move.

One identity · many communities

A forum should have somewhere to go.

Start with free software, bring a real community plan, and choose managed help only when it helps the place last.
