Nice one!!! just booked my suite too.. Suites of Dorchester.. 18th and Collins, right in the thick of it!

I would say.. be prepared for: no sleep, high drink prices, long lines at the big name parties, ie: space, crobar, nikki beach..

try not to be over whelmed when the list of parties starts coming out.. you will most likely miss some stuff you dont want to miss because of so many parties going on at once, [U][B]BUT[/B][/U], what you do see you will never forget! My mistake my 1st year was being in decisive and i missed a lot trying to decide what I wanted to do more. Go in with an open mind, you will see some of us in rare form, some more than others (jibby, lol) But what better place for meeting your fellow MS people! and by all means, STAY AWAY FROM ULTRA!!! any one thats there you can pretty much catch elsewhere

there will be 30 parties for every night... just get a general idea of ~2 parties you want to check out during the day and during the night for each day. helps you have an idea what to go do once you finally decide it's time to head out to a party, and gives you a backup when you find your top choice was cancelled. the free parties are just as good as the paid ones. buy lots of beer at the liquor store, otherwise you'll be spending $10 for a bottle bud light and $13 for a mixed drink... regardless, prepare to spend money on drinks at clubs. hang out with the 30 people from ms so you aren't wasting all your time with people you see on a daily basis. learn what room jib & pickle are staying... jib probably won't allow anybody to sleep in it during the 7 days we're there, so it'll probably be always open for business. :lol:

actually, just hang out with me & steve the whole time and you won't need to worry about anything.

Great party...one of the defining moments of the whole week for me was when James Holden played this Petter track there ("Some Polyphony" - you can hear it on Holden's new mix). Standout track. The crowd was already into it before then, but when that beat kicked in and there was this real sense of how it grabbed everyone's attention..and everyone seemed to share this collective "oh shit, this is EXTRA tight!" kind of moment. It was touching.

Then again, maybe it was just me. We were all wasted.

That song will be featured on my next mix :D
