Read on cooljunkie I believe that there will be no Radio 1 event this year at Nikki Beach. The post mentioned that Radio 1 is a partner in Global Gathering and due to budget cuts and the fact that Nikki Beach was one of the most expensive events of the year, they had to cut it.

i'll pass on listening to every dj in the lineup play a say hello or flashdance remix of some sort.

Desyn was brilliant last year. Besides that though, the parties didn't really do much for me. It's cool to go to one if you haven't been, but for those who go know it's not worth going again. More about the hype and cheese. So it doesn't really bother me either.
One reasonn they were cool though, is that so many people went to them that it was easier to go to other parties because the lines were smaller...
