Liquified @ The Mayan Wednesday March 16th 2005 Los Angeles, CA

liquified is proud to announce the return of...

JOHN DIGWEED (bedrock, UK)

If you?re not an avid follower of dance music but are tuned into popular culture at all you?ve likely experienced music touched by the hands of John Digweed. Originally hailing from England but having clearly arrived on the global scene over a decade ago John has long since cemented his name in the pages of dance music history. His list of achievements is groundbreaking to say the least. As a person John's lack of pretense is complimented by imagination and invention. Good reason for John being one of the most respected, analyzed and imitated dj's in the world. His dj sets are both solid and durable with unyielding precision. His dj'ing and production sound has practically become its own genre. He generates an aura of self-explanatory excitement and enthusiasm. His sets are often filled with moodiness and musical mystery but held down with a punchy distinctiveness and earthly rhythm. Always emanating a sense of boundlessness he overlaps dream events that spill into reality with an enormous certainty.

LUKE FAIR (bedrock)

At the forefront of Canada's growing dance scene is Luke Fair. He's performed at some of the most prestigious venues and events in the world, offering club goers a taste of his funky - techy eclectic house sound each and every weekend. His sets include everything from groovy house and techno to funky progressive and electro. Constantly re-editing tracks to customize his sets, Luke's ongoing desire to make every set stand out from the others is very evident. Over the past few years, Luke has garnered attention for his extremely diverse and genre-crossing studio efforts. From dubbed-out house to melodic progressive, his tracks have been played by djs from all across the dance music spectrum. Everyone from Sasha to David Morales to The Plump DJs have all included Luke's production in their sets. As well, Pete Tong has featured numerous Luke Fair productions on his world famous BBC Radio 1 'Essential Selection' show.
