Anyone hear any rumors if DT or Vibe will be at conference?

I wouldn' t be surprised if they play at Club eNVy. :D

Last year DT played Envy twice and Vibe was with him on one of those nights . DT also did a classics night at small spot on Lincon Road on the last night of WMC. My bet is he either plays Envy or Nocturnal which is a new club opening downtown with a 24 hr liquor license.

I don't think Danny cares about a 24 hour liquor license. He loved playing at "vinyl" I believe because they didn't have a liquor license and therefore it would keep the frat guys out of there and only have people that were really there for the music.

If I am wrong on the clubname I am sorry about that. It was either that one or ARC.

BTW. Whom is VIBE? Don't think I've ever heard of him before. Is that Tenaglias warm up dj?

Maybe DJ Vibe, the Portuguese DJ?

My point was that Space, Envy, and Nocturnal are the only 3 clubs that will allow DT to play a 12+ hour set cause they dont have to close like every other club in Miami.

I thought pretty much all the clubs stayed open during the WMC for the length of this event. All going pretty much 24-7.

I sure wish I was to be there for this set. But I think i'd rather see him in NYC instead, as that is where his real element and his home are. And we all feel more like ourselves when we're at home.

well truth be told, Danny has moved to Miami part-time and it's where he really started to build up his djing long ago...just have a listen to the only live recording and essential mix that Danny did back in 1994 live from Miami. :) So Miami's almost as much his home and where some of his greatest sets ever have been played. Don't dismiss it's relationship to him, just cause of his NY roots...

I'll be teaming up with DJ Vibe and Chus and Ceballos the following weekend in Miami during the Winter Music Conference. On Saturday, March 26 -- the final day of the conference -- we're doing a party at the former Envy space, now called "The Warehouse." That Kid Chris and Pete Tha Zouk will do opening honors, followed by Chus and Ceballos, then DJ Vibe and myself. I'll go on around 7am and will play through the remainder of the morning.

Are you THE DJ VIBE? I was just downloading a ton of your sets from somewhere I found in here. I'm looking forward to hearing them. A local dj friend of mine named DJ QUANTUM. He told me about a time he heard you and DT in NYC and you played Size Queen K-Hole and the roof blew off.

I wish I was going to WMC this year. Damn I wish I was going.

I did get to listening to those sets of his that someone on here posted a link to and he is pretty awesome I must say. I think I've found a new dj to dig on. So thanks all you guys that opened my eyes.
