trying to secure a place for the week. think we might just get the same place we had last year. it isnt like you need all the glitz and glamour of a big hotel. we rarely spent any time there any way.. just a reality break every now and again, lol

realistically jeffrey, we'd need about 10 people. maybe more. a vip section will be a couple Grand. miami is NOT cheap. everything is overpriced. normally they get $9-10 for a bottle of import beer (heineken, corona, amstel light) so you gotta imagine it will be $1,000-2,000. but well worth it imo. but i also like being in the middle of the action too, not just sitting up in some posh room sipping vooodka's! still, count me in!

Jib- I wasn't think bottle service or anything of that nature just sending an email to the club manager ahead of time telling him we, a group of x number of people will be in the area and are considering visiting their venue. We send it from a well known companies email domain (mine will work fine). I've sent these before mostly as thank yous to clubs where the service or experiance was extraordinary and you always end up with the manager wanting to put you on a list the next time your in town. I'm sure I can at least get us ahead of any lines. Someone just needs to get a list of venues we as a group will hit up and we'll put something together.

Anyways this has been very effective for me, although it might be a bit tougher since it is Miami. But when you send it from some large corp's domain they think your on a business trip instead of just some punks out partying :twisted: and when you tell them your bringing x number of ahem associates with you they think in $$.

maybe i'll just have to go down there and get a job bartending at one of the hotspots, that way I can still see the dj's I want. But not have to pay money to actually see them. Plus i'd end up leaving with more $$ than I came in with.

bedrock and delta heavy are 2 of the top parties i have been to all year.. so i will certainly be returning.

lol. Seriously, I am the biggest party pooper EVER. I went with a bunch of guy friends to Montreal last Spring to see Laurent Garnier. I worked from 9-3, then drove up, went drinking and such and headed to the club. Left the club around 11am, partied in our hotel room and then couldnt sleep. So around 5 I finally fell asleep and they all wanted to go out. I refused to go, so they all went to the strip clubs and other various places while I slept my drugs off. Yep. I have no problem being the sleeper while on vacation. :lol:

lame. you cant sleep in my tub then, cos i wont be around to let you in!
