“Every year our goal is to build upon the success of the previous year by bringing the best available local, national and international talent to Detroit in order to create a weekend experience unlike any other in the World,” said Jason Huvaere, president of Paxahau. “Our team spends a lot of time selecting artist and DJs that will appeal to electronic music enthusiasts. DETROIT, March 25, 2009—Anthony Rother, Benga, Glitch Mob and Marc “MK” Kinchen are among the list of 25 more names released today by Paxahau of electronic music artists scheduled to perform at Movement 2009 May 23-25 on Hart Plaza in Detroit. Last week the producers of the Memorial Day weekend festival announced an artist list of 35 which included Afrika Bambaataa, Bassnectar and Carl Cox.

“As I’ve said previously we spend a lot of time selecting artists and DJs that will appeal to electronic music enthusiasts,” said Jason Huvaere, president of Paxahau. “And I think with the addition of these 25 artists we have done a good job of putting together a solid mix of local and international performers to take the stages at Movement this year.”
