Ete d'Amour goes offshore as Le Jean De is pleased to present the legendary [b]DJ Harvey[/b] on his maiden Boat d'Amour DJ voyage in New York City aboard the [b]Paddlewheel Queen[/b] on [b][u]Sunday, August 3rd, 2008[/u][/b].
DJ Harvey's long history as a pioneer has given him rise to nearly cult icon status both here and abroad. Known as a DJ's DJ, his original re-edit abilities, unique remix and production style along with his international DJ performances have earned him the utmost respect amongst the disco and dance music cognoscenti. Harvey is currently working on the finishing touches on the second album for his band project Map Of Africa, as well as his brand new solo band project Celebration Of Our Love Band both forthcoming on Whatever We Want recordings. He currently maintains a monthly club residency at LOVE in NYC and his own Sarcastic Disco parties in LA.This Boat d'Amour will also feature a tour of New York City's Public Art Project "WATERFALLS" by the celebrated artist Olafur Eliasson. Get up-close at the cascading splendor of the breathtaking waterfall scenes as well as the Manhattan skyline, the Brooklyn Bridge, Governor's Island, Ellis Island, and the Statue of Liberty.
