Space, the final frontier. As the smartest club in Ibiza opens its doors to welcome in their shiny new resident, James Zabiela just smiles and blinks a little. See, the ride here has been kinda fast. And while its been a relatively bump-free trip to acceptance and ubiquity, it's still blinkin' quick. Knowing what a great track should sound like - and the place it can be taken by warping and twisting it - is James Zabiela's forte. Layering different sounds with the aid of two Pioneer CDJ1000s, a Pioneer DJM600 mixer, an FX unit and a pair of trusty Technics 1210s, his hands and ears don't let up for a second, leaving any punters feet a-moving and mouth a-gap. And his demands for such kit wherever he spins is a reminder that he's one of the scant few DJs who's pushing things forward in 03. James's style is trippy, bleepy and deeply - nay, downright - groovy. Oh, and watch out for a few gnarly basslines along the way. Those nasty, dirty sounds are a part of Jay-Z's signature sound now. Scratches, loops, fluttering chord changes and are all par for the course in a Zabiela set.

while i love listening to habersham mixes, i'll have to pass on this one... zabiela and holden are playing back to back nights a week after this in Chicago so that makes it a much closer trip, not too mention I got booked to play the night of Nigel Richards here in Minneapolis the day before this show takes place, be a real tired Philly for two late nights in a row....

Dec 04th... wow, He's gonna be spinning here in a versus with Luke Fair on the 3rd (yeah, DECEMBER 3rd).... I guess he's gonna finish spinning and split right away to atlanta... its the life of kings but fuck... it has its cons haha... I hope we both have the best time... Im sure expecting a lot.

Before his performance at eleven50 for Liquified this Saturday, James Zabiela will be appearing at Satellite Records in Atlanta for a very special in-store appearance!!!

James will be showing off his deck skills and signing autographs of his newest CD, Alive. We will have plenty of copies available at Satellite for purchase and signing.

This is a unique opportunity to see and hear this deck wizard in an intimate setting. Things will kick off around 6pm and last about an hour and a half. So please make it out for this special appearance, as James has shifted around his incredibly busy touring schedule for his loyal ATL fans!
