i have been to avalon 3 times to see sasha, and this last time, the set that was recorded was by far the worst i have heard from him, to me it was boring.

but this is sasha AND digweed were talking about, and i have yet to see digweed at all, so this is a absolute must go this time, although i am getting tired of avalon. plus its nice that i live close by.

If Avalon is still holding it's venues at the old church in NYC, then this would be a cool setting to see these two. Last time I was there was for Jeff Mills, and the sound system was pretty cool. Sasha and Digweed are touring Australia playing together in about October or November this year. Can't wait for it but to be honest I'd prefer to hear Digweed alone. No disrepect to Sasha but they just don't seem to do sets together these days that impress me all that much. End up with a couple of hours of crap tunes.

For NYE 2002-2003 they were open till 10AM or so on New Years Day...but I think it was the Palace then and Avalon had just bought it...

But I doubt it's going to be at Avalon considering it's to be a "multi-staged" event...and in Downtown LA...

I was dead after Digweed stopped around 10:30AM...we meant to catch a nap and then head over to catch Howells & Burridge but we eneded up snoozing until 7pm or so...:evil:

Avalon or the Mayan would be sweet but nowhere near big enough...that leaves the Sports Arena, Coliseum, or they could throw up some gigantic tent like structures like they did in NYE 2001-2002...who knows really...:?: [/COLOR]
