My friends and I are thinking about this too. I got a baseball game that day that starts at 7 pm. Should end around 10. Head home take a good nap, get up around 1am have breakfast and head on out to the Mayan at 3am.

Yeah, Im very curious about this. Tickets might be purchased at the door. As far as alcohol.... I think they wont be serving until 7am. or 6 am. Im not sure.
Liquified always does events that include Digweed at the Mayan... so maybe he will be there.
We might have breakfast before hand, down on Figueroa at the Pantry if we do go.

You can get drunk in the parking lot. I plan on getting there around 2:30ish and drinking b4 I get in there. The bar should open around 6. Even without Diggers, it will be fun.:D

well I just got an email about the mayan even from some liquified mailing list. Same graphic as the one above. I don't know why they would send it out if you can't get in.. but no details on how to do so.
Don't know if I will make this, as I'm going the regular event, and not sure if my friend will be up for this.

You can get tickets at the door. There's no pre sale, but I'm sure they'll be plenty of tickets available.:D

That doesn't rule out digweed at all. He spins until 4am at giant, meanwhile they have some opening dj or two like Kazell at the Mayan, then diggers rolls in at 5 to take over the show!
I'm going to have to sleep all day tomorrow to get enough energy for this show.
damn marc farina is not going on until late. Looks LIke I'll be at the flower stage all night.
I hope my friend doesn't want to see Paul Chokenhold, but looks like even if he does he won't cut into digweed or deep dish.. Zabs, why are you playing before Jimmy Van M?? You should be on three stages at once with your skills man! Just send a different Aux channel to each stage.

I called the Mayan yestarday and asked them about the afterhours event. The fool on the phone didn't know much about it, all he said was doors open at 3am, there is no pre-sale, cash only at the door (he didn't know the price), no list that he knows of. From my indications, its going to be a first come first serve basis, and probably $20 since it is afterhours, maybe less? Alcohol? I doubt it.... they wouldn't want to lose their liquior license... so bring booze and drink with me in the parking lot. I will be with my bro BureOne! ;) Also, Diggers plays until 4am, after that he can easily shot down to the Mayan and play at 5am or so. I have my money that he WILL be there, afterall, it is Liquified and who else represents them.....see you sunday morning :)

Well I was surprised on the amount of people who showed up. It slowly got pretty packed. I believe it was around 5:00.
The opener for Kazell played better towards the end. Had some pretty cool tracks at the beginning.
Kazell was spot on and played a lot better than when he opened up for Digweed imo.
Shame no Diggers but I had a pretty good time considering I had been to the Dodger game earlier and played some poker right before showing up... I was pretty tired and drunk... But some of that ganja really helped when I got there.
Beautiful sunrise as usual in L.A.

It was a great time, I missed the Giant Village thinking that Diggers would be the special guest... I'll take seeing him indoors over outside anyday. I'm glad Kazell rocked, the opening DJ was Toshi. I'm not sure how to spell his name correctly. Oh well, I'll just have to go to Vegas to catch Digges @ ICE later this year then.
