I'm gonna be vacationing in Florida the last few weeks of September and wanna start planning if there are any good dj's coming to town i need to make a trip to see. what boards/sites/clubs should I look into?

I'll be staying in naples, but was thinking about driving to miami for a night or two to go dancing till sunrise and pass out on some beach somewhere...

ah, jacksonville is a 4.5 hour drive from there. check out the cooljunkie board and you'll see tons of miami/sobe events listed. :)

the most feasible it looked like would be Oscar G on Sept 24th and then afterhours on the patio. Sounds super cheesy, I'd probably hate the music, but I'm dying to make it onto that patio for sunrise sometime!!

^^^^what? check out the forums on cooljunkie.com oscar g is a space favorite. i'm going to try and make it down for one of his nights at some point. i would def reccomend it. and its def worth making it out on the patio for a sunrise. last time i saw nic f was on the patio at around 8:30am. the place was mobbed, and it was bright as hell. what a night.

what about Friday nights into Saturday mornings? Any great outdoor patio afterhours like Space?

The only other one that was rumored to do an afterhours patio type thing was Nocturnal. Last I heard (right after the conference) was that they didn't meet code on the roof to be able to do it and had to call in some people to fix it. I imagine it's been fixed now but I haven't heard. Check out their website or maybe someone here can answer that.

If you're in Naples, you may want to jet up to Tampa. There are usually some pretty good shows at the Hyde Park Cafe. I'll see what I can dig up and post in here when I have some details.

i live in naples and go to miami frequently make sure you check out crobar, even there resident is slamin, and space go to there web sites to find out up coming djs :D

maybe the opening of nocturnal and metropolis coming soon, they are trying to take a different direction? although i don't know what kind of crowd metropolis is going to cater to.
