[b]Infusion[/b] returns to the U.S. after a rousing main stage amphitheater performance at Ultra Festival during Winter Music Conference and a host of international festival tour dates this summer. Infusion is now poised to preview songs from the album on this U.S. summer tour with the long-anticipated U.S. release of [b][u][i]SIX FEET ABOVE YESTERDAY [/b][/u][/i] in late summer 2005 on Thrive Records (SONY Red).

Their new artist album [b][u][i]SIX FEET ABOVE YESTERDAY [/b][/u][/i], already voted ?Best 50 Albums of 2005? in Rolling Stone Australia has just been released in the UK on the revered, resurrected dance music label Deconstruction. The album was initially scouted by [b]Mike Pickering[/b] of [b]M People[/b] (now head of A&R at SONY BMG) to re-launch the defunct label once home to [b]M People, Kylie Minogue, Sasha[/b] and [b]Robert Miles[/b].
In other news, Infusion have recently remixed one of their heroes [b]THE CURE[/b]. As longtime fans, the band is ecstatic that the remix has been approved by [b]Robert Smith[/b]. The track [b][i]?The Walk?[/b][/i] was originally on The Cure album [b][i]'Japanese Whispers'[/b][/i] and released as a single in 1983. The Infusion remix will be part of the [b][i]'Future Retro'[/b][/i] compilation out on September 23rd on Rhino Records/Warner Music (USA) featuring remixes of [b]New Order, Echo & The Bunnymen, Morrissey[/b] and [b]Devo[/b] by today?s hottest electronic artists like [b]Infusion, Scissor Sisters, Crystal Method, Richard X,[/b] and[b] Swayzak[/b] etc. Infusion's remix skills are obviously highly prized - they've also been busy working on a remix for UK act [b]El Presidente[/b], who are currently on tour with [b]Oasis[/b].
The band?s own vinyl imprint came under scrutiny from the unhappy instant camera people and have subsequently changed their name to [b]Music For Vinyl[/b]. Infusion?s album/singles on vinyl will be made available here. The next release will be [b][i]?Natural?[/b][/i] with exciting remixes TBC.
Other prominent Infusion festival dates this summer include the Exit Festival (Serbia) with Underworld, Wireless Festival (Hyde Park London), Avrika (Sweden) and Dance Valley (Amsterdam). [b][u]INFUSION[/b][/u] are Jamie Stevens, Frank Xavier & Manuel Sharrad.
