[b]THE CRYSTAL METHOD?s[/b] 1997 debut, [b][i]Vegas[/b][/i] (Outpost Recordings, 1997), was the first electronic album to break into the American mainstream. Other releases from the pair include artist albums [b][i]Tweekend[/b][/i] (Interscope, 2001) and[b][i] Legion Of Boom [/b][/i](V2 Records, 2004), as well as their first mix album [b][i]Community Service[/b][/i] (ULTRA Records, 2002). Collectively, they?ve sold over 1.5 million records and have become two of the most recognizable faces in American electronic dance music. The duo can now add the prestige of a debut [b]GRAMMY[/b] nomination in the new category of [i]Best Electronic/Dance Album[/i] for [b][i]Legion of Boom[/b][/i] ?as well as being the only American group included in this honor.
