Known internationally as a curator amongst the world’s most cutting edge DJs, producers and musical movements, his highly acclaimed, futuristic dancehall album “Guns Don’t Kill People… Lazers Do,” released with Switch as Major Lazer, hit number 7 on Billboard’s Dance/Electronic Chart. In 2008, he earned a Record of the Year Grammy nomination for his work on M.I.A.’s mega-hit, “Paper Planes;” he has also produced for Santigold, Lil’ Jon and Missy Elliot, and remixed works by Beck, Radiohead, Britney Spears and countless others.
