^ man, you're a dumbass, he didn't crawl anywhere, bro, $125million says so. he was traded away for halladay, went to the Texans won a world series, now is going back to the city he loves, the team he loves, to pitch alongside with the (arguably) the best rotation on paper ever...for $125 million dollars, with a $27+ million dollar option in the last year. You couldn't paint that picture any better for Lee.

i mean i can see your point but i don't know that i'd call it betrayal. baseball's a business and evidently the phillies treated lee with enough respect for him to come back. i think it shows class on both sides. the phillies know they need lee and lee likes philly.

on the other hand, cliff lee goes to yankee stadium to pitch against the yankees and the fans spit and throw beer at/on his wife... total disrespect.

witholding the rangers from the picture, it seems like a clear choice to me who to choose.
