At least Vanderdick did his part.Pats own Indy. oh in case u missed the score 20-3.

#340730Post 2 of 24

i missed most of it cos i had to work, but i saw manning get man handled til a couple mins into the 2nd qtr. he looked very sloppy in the 1st qtr. sure he'll be watching those tapes til next september. :(

This brightened my day after watching the Filthadelphia Eagles win.

NE totally outplayed the Colts. They never got their rhythm flowing at all, they looked totally out of sync. It sucks because it would have been a better game if Indy had been able to produce anything on offense. Props to NE defense though, they were impressive...

i was pissed at first that i missed this game because i though it would be better....but apparently not...NE has the Colts #.

Re: Peyton Manning who???

the nfl playoff games are weak as fk this year, aside from steelers/jets.

#340819Post 7 of 24

Go Steelers!

#340831Post 8 of 24

Colts definetly got out played yesterday. Peyton did not show up for this game. Pats definetly man handled him.

#340833Post 9 of 24

i hope peyton manning is another dan marino.

breaks tons of records, never wins a title. although, i wish dan would have gotten one.

#340836Post 10 of 24

The way Indy played made the Bronco's look even worse. Granted, the Colts have never won in Foxborrow and there is a reason for that. Obviously Manning wasn't the greatest, but his receivers were dropping them left and right. I guess they can't play on real grass, and when you have to deal with real football weather.

#340846Post 11 of 24

I don't know why everyone thinks Peyton dropped his game... he played well, it was his receivers that sucked. they dropped tons of passes and couldn't get a fucking yard after their catches when they DID catch it. definitely not peyton's fault that they lost badly.

Re: Peyton Manning who???

NE proved again that Peyton and Colts were overrated; one thing is padding stats during regular season against mediocre teams, another thing is to win the game that counts. I did not buy into media euphoria about Colts? being a best show on earth. How many big games Peyton has won? In college he was ass raped by Florida, and once he got to the pros, Patriots follow the Florida?s example and started to do the ass kicking. I was happy to see Tom Brady doing what he has always done is to WIN PLAYOFF GAMES, (6-0 in playoff games). I just wonder when the guy is going to get a recognition he deserves. Also Corry Dillon worth every penny NE paid for him, what a huge improvement from A. Smith. Pittsburgh game should be an interesting one, but NE has a good chance to win it. Routhlesberger, showed that he is still a rookie.

One step closer to my original prediction NE vs. Atlanta in the Super Bowl!

Re: Peyton Manning who???

the best part is that we got to watch peyton pouting around and actually having the look of disbeleif that he couldnt do shit. dont get me wrong. i hate the pats. but i REALLY REALLY HATE peyton manning. he is a crybaby and will probably talk a ton of trash about the pats after the fact again. did you see him shaking his head at his players? i found it very uplifting after my JETS got my hopes up and dropped the ball in the most heartbreaking manner, YET AGAIN. although im happy they at least made it a game. gave me something to look forward to when they get a offensive co-ordinator who doesnt use madden '99 as his playbook.

FUCK MANNING FUCK PAUL HACKETT FUCK PENNINGTON FOR NOT DOING IT YET AGAIN

PROPS TO STEELERS FOR EARNING IT OVER MY JETS PROPS TO BRADY FOR PROVING HE IS BETTER THAN MANNING. PROPS TO BELLICHECK FOR BEING THE BEST DEFENSIVE GENIOUS EVER. AND MAD PROPS GO TO THE EAGLES FOR SHOWING THEY DONT NEED T.O. TO BE GREAT, NOW JUST GO PROVE IT.

isn't showing it, proving it?

i meant by heading out and beating the falcons, then beating the pats/steelers. of all those who are left, i gotta go eagles, i hate the pats, steelers beat jets, and i think VICK is extremely oeverrated. i admire mcnabb because he dont talk, he just shows up and wins. and andy reid is a good guy and TO is cool, he's a wiseass, but at least he is a clean cut funny guy off the feild.(he is also extremely charitable to the alzheimer's foundation"a personal thing on my behalf", he donates 1/4 of his salary to the org b/c his g-mother is dying to it. so did mine.)

#340889Post 16 of 24

well according to my location, i think it is obvious who i'll root for. 8)

win the superbowl you over-rated piece of shit for a qb! i think atlanta's new coach has a lot to do with their success. he really seems to be on the same level as the players. jim is the man.

#340892Post 17 of 24

i hear that garrick. mora jR is a really good coach. and they love him. he is like a smarter version of herm edwards. his players would jump in front of a car for him. and he is a better game manager than a lot of the players coaches.

and for vick, that contract will be the single most disappointing signing ever. 130 million for a guy who cant really throw an accurate pass or stay in the pocket. he has a rifle for an arm, but is too inacurate and books outta the pocket when under pressure. there will be a time when a guy like ray lewis or bruschi will be waitin in the flat for vick to turn the corner and will flatten him.

#340901Post 18 of 24

i have a feeling it will be an all PA super bowl. sorry but ATL doesnt really have a chance.. especially playing outdoors in freezing cold weather (i assume that will be the case up the next week). And isnt Pittsburgh hosting the game next week? So long as Roth-whatever the fuck his name is, doesnt fuck up too much, they should beat NE.

As far as Peyton.. didnt his receivers drop a shite load of balls? and Edge only getting about 39 or so yards on the ground isnt going to take much pressure off the passing game. I did see the looks of disbelief.. but it would have been funny to see Dungy and Gramatica win a ring whilst the Bucs are looking at early round draft choice selections.

#340902Post 19 of 24

it just goes to show you that no "1" or "5" players can beat a great team.. NE won with out there two starting cornerbacks (pro bowler Law, and pro bowler poole)

Mind you Vick did win a game in freezing cold weahter during that first round playoff game up in Green Bay 2 years back when the temperature was under 32 ?F. Up to that point Farve was unbeatable at those temperatures.

Manning is Brady's bitch.

#341652Post 22 of 24

Best part of the Pat/Colts game was in the last minute, the little drive that Manning tried to put together in order to save face. Got a few completetions, started to look a little comforatble, and then PICK! BWAHAHAHA!

I must admit that I got tricked into believing that Indy was unstoppable, but in the end I'm glad to see it is still a defensive game.

#341661Post 23 of 24

^ that pick was not necessarily his fault either, though. they had already lost... he had to do something. was that the only game that peyton didn't throw a touchdown pass in the whole season?

what? beating the 8-8 minnesota vikings now makes you a "great" team? come on. the eagles had a great regular season record, had a month off, including a first round bye, and home field advantage, and beating wild card team that didn't even deserve to be there in the first place - that doesn't make anyone great. The falcons will show you just how "great" philly is after the eagles lose there 4th consecutive nfc championship game.
